The Oak Bed Store

We needed a new mattress topper for the spare room after my mum stayed over and complained about her back. I've been ordering from this lot for about six years now, the bed frames in our bedroom came from them and they've held up really well. Checkout is quick, I always get a confirmation email straight away and the stuff arrives in the time they say it will. Nothing has ever been missing or damaged, so I keep going back.

I bought the oak chest of drawers for my hallway. I've bought from them before and it's just as good as the last one. The drawers run a little stiffly at first but loosen up after a week of use.

The delivery text came through with a time window which was useful. The shelf looks good. Took a bit of a wait for the reply to my question about fittings though.

The price was the first thing I checked and it's good value for what you get. Ordering was quick, the delivery came as promised, and the table is well made with no gaps in the joints. Worth the money for a decent oak piece.

This was cheaper than the other oak sites I looked at, and the spec was clearer too. I compared three before settling on it. Ordering took about ten minutes and the bench arrived looking just as pictured.

The bed frame was the cheapest I could find for solid oak, which was why I went for it. Delivery was a week later than the date on the site though and nobody told me until the day before. Fine in the end but a bit annoying.

I needed a bed for the new flat and had no idea where to start, so I just searched and this came up. It was my first time ordering from them and I wasn't sure what to expect. The bed came in a few boxes, the instructions were clear and it went together in about an hour with my boyfriend. Solid and looks good in the bedroom.

We bought the oak wardrobe with sliding doors after looking at a couple of other places. The others were either flat-pack particle board or charging a fortune for the same size. This one felt solid when it arrived and the doors run smoothly. Ordering was simple and the price was fair for what you get.

Way better than the flat pack stuff I had before, this is proper oak. Compared to the particle board bookcase I had, the difference is massive. Ordered on my phone during my lunch break and it was easy. Arrived on time and the shelves are strong.

We needed a proper headboard to finish off the bedroom and this was just the thing. I found the ordering process perfectly clear, and the price was reasonable. The headboard arrived in good order and went up without any fuss.

They are the first place I'd go for solid oak now. I've been a customer for a long time and the quality has stayed consistent across every order. The checkout is simple, the updates come through when they should, and the delivery has been reliable every single time. Nothing has ever arrived damaged in all those years, which says a lot to me. Happy to keep coming back.

I was most pleased that the site made the sizing details so clear before I ordered. The coat stand arrived in good order and is sturdy and well finished. I'd be happy to order from them again.

Way cheaper than the high street places I'd been looking at. Ordering was easy on my phone. Happy with it so far, only thing is the knobs came a bit loose.

I got the oak coat stand for the hallway. Good solid piece and the price was fair, though the delivery was a day later than they first said. Still happy with it.

Needed a bedside table quickly as my old one broke. I compared a few options and this was the cheapest for real oak. Arrived in good time and the table looks nice next to the bed.

Compared with the big furniture chains, this is a bit cheaper for solid oak but the finish is slightly less even on the edges. I've been buying oak furniture for years and I could tell the difference when I got the bedside table in, though it's still decent for the money. The delivery guys were fine. Wouldn't say it's a bad buy, just don't expect showroom standard.

The first thing that struck me was how the drawers still slide out smoothly after all these years, which I didn't expect from anything bought online. I've been buying from them since the dresser went into the spare room and I've bought a bedside and a little hall bench since. Every order has come well packed and the site has always been easy to use, even for me. Plenty of people I know have been asking where I got them.

Solid oak, properly joined, and the grain is lovely in real life. I've got a bit of an eye for timber from doing up my dad's old workshop, and this is the real thing, no veneer nonsense. The bedside I got has held up to daily use with no wobble at all.

Bought the oak bedside for the spare room and it cost less than the flat pack version I'd been eyeing up. The drawer runs well and the wood looks better than the photos. For what you pay it's hard to fault, and I'd buy from them again.
