I needed lining for a jacket I'm making for my sister's wedding, so I was after something smooth and not too slippery. This one sews up well and presses nicely. My only small gripe is the cut length was a touch shorter than I'd have liked, so I had to order a bit extra. Otherwise pleased.

Compared with the little shop in town I used to go to, this is so much easier. I got a metre of the calico to test a pattern and the cloth was crisp and even. Ordering was simple and it came quickly. Would order again for sure.

I have to say this compared very favourably with the local soft furnishings shop I used to use. The velvet was of a standard I would expect to pay considerably more for elsewhere. I was re upholstering a footstool that my late wife was rather fond of. The website was clear and the order process was not onerous. Delivery arrived well ahead of the date I was given.
