smilingtreetoys

This is still a good shop after years of ordering from them. The gift cards arrive quickly, the site remembers my details and the toys I've bought over the years have held up well. Prices are fair and the packaging is always tidy. Easy to use on my laptop too.

Really happy with the wooden marble run. The pieces are sturdy, the ramps are smooth and the whole thing went together in under an hour. Ordering was quick and the confirmation email arrived immediately. Delivery came exactly when the site said it would.

The wooden marble run is brilliant and my two are obsessed with it already. Checkout kept asking me to log in again so it took a few tries to get the order through. Once it went through the delivery was prompt and it arrived in good nick.

You get what you pay for here and it's not the cheapest, but the price is fair for a wooden toy. The box arrived with a small dent in one corner, nothing that affected the toy inside. Ordering was easy enough and the site told me the dispatch date clearly. Would probably check another shop first if you want the lowest price.

I bought the wooden shape sorter with the coloured blocks for my granddaughter's first birthday. I know my toys well from years of buying for the grandchildren and the pieces are solid, the holes fit the shapes properly and nothing rattles loose. Took about four days to arrive, which was fine. The only small thing was the box, which was bigger than it needed to be, but the sorter itself is good.

I needed a present for a christening that was only a week away and most places were out of stock on the plush rabbit I wanted. Found it here, ordered at lunchtime and it turned up the next morning. The product photos matched what arrived, the stitching is tight and the ears are soft. Packed in tissue paper, which made it easy to wrap again for the day.

Ordered the wooden train set with the bridge and tunnel pieces for my nephew. The track joins are a bit fiddly to line up at first but once you get the hang of them it's fine. The paint is a little thinner than I expected on the carriages, though nothing that would put a child off. Arrived in two days, packed well, and the instructions were clear enough.

Needed a gift for my goddaughter's seventh birthday in a hurry and the rainbow dolls house was in stock here. Ordered on the Wednesday and it came Friday. The rooms are well made and the furniture fits neatly. Wrapping was lovely, which saved me a job.

I looked at three other sites before buying the wooden shape sorter and this one came out ahead on price and delivery. The sorter itself is solid, the holes are the right size for little hands, and the paint doesn't chip. Only small gripe is the box is bigger than it needs to be. Delivery was quick and the tracking updates were accurate.

Compared with two other shops I checked, this had the best price on the wooden play kitchen set. The hob knobs are a bit flimsy and need tightening, but the pans fit the stove well. Delivery was on time and the box survived the trip. I'd buy from them again.

Got the model dinosaur kit for my brother who's been poorly and bored out of his head. The pieces snap together easily and he's been at it all afternoon. Ordered on a Sunday and it was here by Wednesday, which was sick.

Honestly I'd give it a miss if you need to send something back. I bought a jigsaw set for my grandson, it was the wrong box inside, and getting the return label sorted took me three emails and most of a week. The original order was fine and the price was reasonable. Once the refund finally came through it was all sorted, but I'd rather not go through that again.

Got the wooden toy tool set for my grandson, the spanner and screwdriver pieces are a decent weight. The paint is fine but a couple of the screws were slightly loose out of the box, so I tightened them myself. It's good value for the money, though not hugely durable if he's rough with it. Delivery was steady, arriving within three days.

I needed a birthday present for my niece who's obsessed with unicorns and this was the only place with a decent plush in stock. Ordered on Thursday and it landed Saturday morning. Really soft, the horn is embroidered not stuck on, and the box was tidy. Definitely going back for the next one.

My son had been ill for a fortnight and I needed something to cheer him up, so I ordered a model dinosaur kit from here. The pieces are well cut and the instructions are easy to follow, even for a ten-year-old. It arrived the next day and the box was in great shape. Really pleased with it.

the fox on the front page was so cute that I just had to buy it for my little sister, it came quick and she's already carrying it everywhere. Honestly the packaging was fine too, nothing to complain about lol.

Compared to the big high street chains this is far easier, I've been ordering from smilingtreetoys for about six years now and the site rarely gives me any bother. The checkout remembers my address and the tracking emails come through straight away. Prices are usually a touch cheaper too, and the gift wrap is a nice bonus when I need it for birthdays. Only thing I'd like is a bit more stock in the wooden puzzles section.

The plush sloth is so cute, the fur is super soft and the face is sweet. Ordered it on my phone during my lunch break and it came in two days. Easy checkout, no drama.

Way quicker than going into town to find a toy for my daughter, I found the wooden stacking rings in a few clicks on my phone and it arrived two days later.

The first thing I noticed was how much bubble wrap was in the box, it was almost more packaging than toy. Sorted out the order fine and the checkout was simple to use. The delivery took four days though, which felt a bit long for something I'd paid for on a Monday. Not sure I'll rush back.
