SlumberPod

I booked a single pod for a Friday night in Manchester because I wanted to try something different after a stressful week. The booking page was clear about what was included, and I got a message the day before with directions and the door code. Pod was small but well thought out, with a proper blackout blind and a little shelf for my phone. Checkout was just leaving the key in the box. Really happy with it.

Compared to the Premier Inn near the station this was much easier, I booked on my phone in the car and got the access code straight away. Stayed one night before a gig in Leeds and the pod was tidy, bed was comfy and the wifi actually worked which was the main thing for me. Loads quicker than queuing at reception after a long drive. Would book again no question.

Needed somewhere cheap for a night in Nottingham after missing the last train, so booked this on my phone while waiting for a taxi. Confirmation came through in seconds, and the directions to the pod were spot on. Pod was clean, bed was comfy and the lock worked properly. Checked out in the morning with no fuss and no queue at all.

Compared with a budget hotel in Brighton for the same weekend, this worked out a fair bit cheaper, and it's on the seafront so the location was just as good. I stayed a single night and used the shared shower block which was clean enough. Nothing special but it did the job well for the money.

I would like to say the staff were particularly kind when we arrived late from the train at York, and they waited with us until we'd found the right pod. The room was spotless and the bed was firm the way I like it. We had a small problem with the lighting which was sorted within the hour. Clear instructions and a pleasant stay, you'd find it hard to do better for the money.

Good, clean pod with a proper bed and enough room to stretch out. Booking was straightforward and the access code worked first time. Stayed in Liverpool for a work trip, quiet street, easy parking nearby.

Honestly the best budget option for a night in Bath, and I've tried most of them. The pod is well laid out with good lighting and a proper bed, and the booking through the site was painless. Check in took a minute and I was in. The bathroom was a short walk but spotless. Definitely my go-to now.

I needed somewhere close by for my sister when she came up to Glasgow to see us, and this seemed a sensible choice for a couple of nights. The booking was simple to make over the phone and the confirmation letter arrived promptly. The pod was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were tidy and well kept. Everything went smoothly.

I needed somewhere to crash after missing the last train into Leeds and the hotels were all full. Booked it on my phone on the platform and it was sorted in seconds. The pod was clean and the bed was comfy enough. Would use again.

I've used the night pod in Cardiff a good few times now, mostly the same one by the station. Booked the usual pod through the site without any fuss and the access code arrived as normal. Clean, quiet, does exactly what it's meant to.

The pod was spotless when we arrived, and I do appreciate that. The bed was very comfortable and the blind kept the morning light out, which suited us. Booking was simple and the directions were clear.
