I would like to say the staff were particularly kind when we arrived late from the train at York, and they waited with us until we'd found the right pod. The room was spotless and the bed was firm the way I like it. We had a small problem with the lighting which was sorted within the hour. Clear instructions and a pleasant stay, you'd find it hard to do better for the money.

Pod was small but well thought out, with a proper blackout blind and a little shelf for my phone. Checkout was just leaving the key in the box. Really…
Read moreWe needed somewhere to crash for two nights after a late flight into Edinburgh, and I've stayed in plenty of capsule-style places in Japan so I knew roughly what to expect. The bed is a decent width and the sound insulation is good. The pod is a bit smaller than others I've tried, so luggage has to live under the bed. Booking through the app was fine, but the checkout time felt tight.
It's a perfectly acceptable place for a night, and I would say it does the job. The booking process was a little fiddly, I did have to ring them when the card payment kept being declined. The pod itself was clean and quiet, though the bed was firmer than I'd have liked. I'm not sure I'd rush back, but I wouldn't rule it out either.
