Ribble Cycles

I needed something light enough to lift onto the car rack for the school run and this fit the bill. The frame is easy to handle and the gears shift cleanly. Ordering was quick and the bike turned up well packaged.

This was my first order with them and I was a bit nervous. The site was easy to use and I got the bike and parts in a few days. Everything matched the description and I'm happy with it.

The box had clearly been opened and re-taped before it reached me, which was a bit off putting for a first order. Otherwise the site was easy to use, I found the right size cassette without hunting about, and the bits arrived two days after I ordered. Shipping tracking updated properly too, so no worries there.

The wheelset came with the hubs already pre-loaded and the spoke tension was spot on when I trued them up. I've been building and servicing my own bikes for about fifteen years so I was picky. The bearings are smooth, the rims are straight out of the box, and the price was well below what the shops near me were asking. Brilliant stuff.

I compared this with the bike shop in town and the price here was considerably lower for the same kit. The shop wanted a fair bit more and offered less of a warranty. The bike has been a pleasure on my weekend rides and the delivery was prompt and careful.

I have found this to be a sound purchase, and I am glad I went ahead with it. The frame is light enough for my rides up the hill and the gears are easy to adjust. The order was handled with care and the cycle was delivered on the date I had been told, which I appreciated.

Bought the mudguard set for the wet winter rides to the allotment. The fitting took me about twenty minutes with the bolts in the bag and they stopped the spray off my back completely. For the price I paid it's a lot of mudguard for the money, and I'd happily buy from them again.

The brakes were the first thing I noticed, they're smooth and bite well on the descents. I've had the bike for a few years now and I have ordered spares from them more than once. The service has always been polite.

I needed a new chain and cassette after my old set started skipping on the hills, so I went for a matched kit. The ordering was simple and the parts came with the right links and tools. Fitting took me about an hour and the gears are back to crisp.

This is good value, plain and simple, for a decent road bike with proper components. I paid less than I would have for something similar in a local shop and it rides well. The ordering was straightforward and the price matched what was on the page.

Bought the saddle bag for my first proper ride. Fits under the seat fine and holds a spare tube, multitool and a tyre lever with room to spare. Arrived quick and it does the job.

Compared with the big names I'd tried, the fit on this one is far better for my head shape. The padding is comfy and the strap sits neatly. Would order from them again.

I needed a bike with mudguard mounts and a decent hub gear for the wet commute to the office, and my old one had finally packed in. The chosen model was described as a mid-range hybrid but the saddle was harder than I'd like and the bell was flimsy. Fine for the price, but I'd want to swap the saddle straight away.

Needed a new helmet after my old one took a knock, and I wanted something light with good ventilation. Ordered my size on the site and it fits snugly. The ordering was quick and it arrived in a day or so.

Bought a pair of clipless pedals as my first upgrade and they came with cleats and the right bolts. Clicking in is easy and the bearings feel smooth. Checkout was simple and they arrived in a couple of days.

Ordered on Tuesday night and it turned up Thursday, which was quicker than I expected. The pedals fit my bike straight away and came with the cleats already on. Site was easy to use on my phone too. Would order again.

Yeah the bike is sorted and rides well, got it in a few days which was quick. The tyres were a bit tight to fit on the rims though so took a while with the levers. Nothing major but worth knowing.

Compared it to buying from one of the big chains and honestly this was miles better. Clearer sizing, the bike rode nice out of the box and the delivery came quick. Would get something else from them.

I looked at a few different mudguard sets before settling on these, and they were the best fit for my frame and the wettest rides. The price was fair compared with the others and the fitting instructions were clear. Arrived two days later and everything was there.

Compared it to the usual brand I'd always bought and this came out ahead on finish and weight. The paint was even and the components were the same spec for less money. I'd say it's more than fair, and the box arrived with no dents at all.
