Quick order, arrived fast

Ordered a rotary cutter blade pack on the app while waiting for the bus. Easy to find, tapped through in about a minute, and it turned up two days later. Nothing to complain about.

Why I needed a new ruler

I needed a new quilting ruler as my old one had worn down at the edges and was no longer accurate. I placed my order with them and was very pleased with the result. The ruler is clear, well marked and cuts true. The site was easy to navigate and the staff answered my query about the markings promptly. I am happy to recommend them to fellow quilters.

thread for the price

Bought a box of 50 weight cotton thread in the neutral colours. Each spool is a good length and it sews smoothly without snapping, which is what counts for me. Works out cheaper per spool than the big brand, and it was packed in a little paper bag so no waste. Good value for regular quilting.

Beats the other shops for batting

Compared with the two other places I usually buy wadding from, this one had the 80/20 batting in the size I needed and the price was lower. Loft is even and there's no bearding when quilted. Happy with it.

Better than my usual shop

Compared with my usual shop the range here is much bigger, especially for linen and fat eighths, and the search filters actually work. Got the exact shade I wanted without hunting. Postage was reasonable and the parcel was tidy. Pleased with it.

Best price I found for wadding

This is the place I'd go back to for wadding. I looked at the big craft chain and two other online shops before ordering, and this worked out cheapest for the 80/20 batting in the size I needed. The checkout was a bit slow on my phone but it went through without issues.

Needed thread for a quick repair

Needed some bobbin thread in a hurry because mine ran out mid project and the shops near me were shut. Found the exact colour here and it got to me the next day. Packaging was fine. Thread price is a bit higher than the supermarket of the internet but I wasn't going to argue with next day.

The fabric was fine but slow

Fabric was fine when it turned up, the colours matched the photos and the weight is what I wanted for a bag. The delivery was a problem though, it said it would come in three days and took almost two weeks. I emailed about it and got a reply the following week. Nothing wrong with the goods, just not quick enough for what I needed.

needed a book for patchwork

Needed a beginner quilting book cos I started patchwork in the spring and didn't know where to start. The one I got has loads of step by step photos which is great but the delivery took about 10 days and the tracking didn't update for ages so I was a bit worried it had gone missing. It turned up eventually and the book is good, just slower than I expected.

The rotary cutter

Bought the 45mm rotary cutter and it's a solid bit of kit. Blade is sharp and the safety guard clicks back neatly. Price is about the same as the other quilt shops I use. Delivery was on the slow side, took a week.

Compared the other shops first

Checked three other places for a pair of quilting shears before going with this one, and this was the best price for the brand I wanted. Blades are sharp and the handles are comfortable. Arrived quickly and well packed. Would order again.

took ages to arrive

First time ordering from them and I'd hoped for better. I bought a set of quilting shears and they said three to five days but it was nearly two weeks before anything turned up. When I rang the number nobody picked up, so I emailed and it was four days before anyone replied. The shears themselves are fine, but I'd think twice before ordering anything you need by a set date.

Needed a book for my new hobby

I needed a good beginner quilting book after taking up patchwork in the spring, and the one I picked here has lovely step by step photos for every project. It was my first order with them so I didn't know what to expect. Delivery was prompt and the book was wrapped in card so the corners weren't bashed. The projects are simple enough for a complete novice like me and I've already made two cushions from it. Clear instructions throughout.

Good for quilting bits

Pretty good for quilting bits tbh. Ordered a rotary cutter and mat set and they came in a sturdy box with no damage. The blades are sharp. Only thing is the mat was a bit more than I'd pay on a marketplace, but I think it's fine for what it is. Might get more stuff from them.

The sewing pattern instructions

The first thing I noticed was how clear the printed instructions were in the sewing pattern I ordered for a lap quilt. Diagrams are big and easy to follow, and the cutting list is laid out properly. I'm new to ordering from them and I was pleased with how the pattern arrived flat and undamaged in a stiff envelope. The pattern is well drafted and I'll be back for more.

Lovely bundle of fat quarters

Ordered a bundle of fat quarters in the Japanese cotton lawn range and they're exactly what I wanted, the weave is tight and the prints are crisp. The only small niggle is that the listing said 18 pieces and mine came as 16 cut into a slightly mixed set, so I had to count them twice before I was happy. Still, for the money they're a good shout for a scrappy quilt top I'm building for my niece.

better than the big chain

Compared it to the big craft chain down the road and this was way quicker to find the walking foot I wanted, with the spec listed properly. Ordered at lunch, arrived Thursday. Easy.

Good value for the money

Good value, plain and simple. I wanted a 60mm rotary mat and a couple of replacement blades and the prices were noticeably lower than the big shops I normally use. Delivery was quick, two days, and everything came in one box with no damage. The product descriptions were accurate so I didn't have to guess what I was getting. Not flashy, but for regular quilting supplies I'll keep coming back and buying from here.
