London Penny

This was my first order with them, having heard about them from a colleague who swears by the place for home bits and pieces. I bought a set of four ceramic coasters for the dining table. They arrived well packed and the glaze is smooth and even, nothing chipped. Everything about the process was simple and I expect I will order from them again when I need something for the house.

Ordered the linen napkins in a set of twelve and have used them every weekend since. They wash well and don't shrink. Lovely to have a reliable place to get them.

Worth buying if you want a decent cotton duvet cover that won't pill after a few washes. Stitching is tidy and the zip has held up. Check the sizing against your duvet before you order though.

Our old stand rusted through over the winter so I needed a replacement before the spring plants went out. Went with the galvanised one and it's sturdy enough for the big pots. Assembly took about twenty minutes with the instructions given.

My old lamp broke so I needed something for my bedroom desk quickly. Found a simple one here, ordered during my lunch break, and it turned up two days later. Works perfectly and the light is nice and warm. Just what I wanted.

I compared the price of a cotton throw against the department store on the high street and found it a little cheaper here. The quality seemed much the same to me, which pleased me. Delivery was prompt and the item was exactly as shown. I am content with the purchase.

Compared the price of a set of tea towels with a big chain on the high street and this was a few quid less for the same number. The fabric is a bit thinner than I hoped but they're perfectly usable for everyday drying up. Delivery was next day, which I wasn't expecting for the price.

Honestly this was pretty good, the bag I got is cute and the colour is nicer in real life. Delivery was quick too. Only thing is the strap is a bit thin, but for the price I'm not complaining.

The first thing that struck me was how sturdy the galvanised planters felt when they arrived. They have sat outside through a wet spring without any sign of rust. I would happily order from them again.

The tea caddy I bought was smaller than I expected from the photos, which I did not mind much. It holds about what I thought it would, just looks a bit slighter in person. Still a useful thing for the kitchen.

Best place I've found for replacement kitchen towels, and it's been that way for years. Prices are fair, the site is easy to search, and orders always arrive exactly when they say. Keep buying from them, won't be going anywhere else.

I think the order process here is perfectly clear, which is more than I can say for some sites. The item I ordered, a pair of oak bookends, arrived well wrapped and undamaged. The only reason I have not given full marks is that the confirmation email took a little while to come through, and I had begun to wonder whether the order had gone in at all. Once it arrived everything was in order.

Compared this with two other homeware sites before I went for it, mainly because the other two wanted more for the same bits. Ordered a set of cotton bath mats and a shower curtain. Prices were a bit lower here and the checkout was quick. Delivery took about four days which was fine, though the second mat came in a separate box a day later. Would order again.

The mug set I got for my flatmate's birthday arrived in two days and the wrapping was actually really nice. Checkout on the app was quick, saved my card and everything. Would order again.

The scent of the candles was the first thing I noticed, and it is lovely without being too strong. The box they came in was a bit squashed on one corner, though the candles themselves were fine. Would buy from them again.

Tried the other big site first for a phone stand and it kept timing out at checkout. Went with these instead and it was done in two minutes, phone on the bus. Stand is solid and the price was about the same. Would use again, no question, will just order from here from now on.

Needed a few plain shirts for a new job starting Monday and didn't have time to shop around. Ordered on the Wednesday, got them the Friday, and they fitted fine. Thanks so much, saved me a panic!

Ordered the cotton duvet set from them again, third time now, and it's still the one I reorder. The quality hasn't dropped at all since my first order years back. Only niggle is the delivery window, they gave me a four hour slot and the van turned up at the end of it. Otherwise no complaints, I just keep going back.

I needed a birthday present sorted in a hurry for my sister and found this place on a Thursday night. Chose a candle set, ordered before midnight, and it landed on the Saturday morning. Packed nicely, nothing broken, she loved it. Really glad I found them when I did.
