Really happy with my first order. The wood wax went on smooth and my little pine box looks lovely now. Site was easy to use and it arrived quicker than I thought.

Got the stain for my shed door. Looked nothing like the picture on the site, much more orange than I was expecting. Also took ages to arrive and the tin was dented.

I was after something to bring back the sheen on my late mother's oak chest, which had gone dull and dry over the years. I'm not confident with these things, but the directions were easy to follow. The colour has come up beautifully and it smells pleasant too.

Compared it to the own brand wax from the diy shop and this is a clear step up. Went on smoother and buffed to a nicer sheen on the old sideboard. Quick to order on my phone and it turned up in two days.

We had six dining chairs that were looking very tired and I needed something that would protect them without changing the colour too much. I've been ordering from this lot for years now and they've never let me down. Everything arrived as expected and the chairs look lovely again.

Compared it to the big brand danish oil I've used for years and this beat it for depth of colour on oak without going tacky after a couple of days. I've refinished a fair few pieces over the last decade so I know what to look for, and the finish held up through a summer of sunlight on our garden table. Application was easy too, one thin coat and a light rub back between coats was all it needed.

I bought a tin of the wax to finish a small walnut side table for my wife. The colour came up lovely and it buffs out nicely without much effort. It arrived well within the week and the tin was in good condition. Happy with it.

The first coat of the hardwax oil went on much thinner than I expected, so I did two coats on the gate and the difference was clear. Soaks in well and the grain really comes up on the rough sawn timber. Dries quicker than the cheap stuff I used before, so I could recoat the same afternoon. Only downside is you need to stir it properly before use or the bottom of the tin is thicker.

Really good stuff for the price. Got a tin of the clear wood oil for my mates new bench and it went on nicely, dried fast enough that I got two coats in a day. Only thing is the lid was a bit stiff to get off first time but that's about it.

Honestly this is the one I ended up sticking with after trying three other hardwax oils. The finish on my ash worktop is nice and matt and it's held up well to hot pans so far. Only small thing is the tin is a fair bit bigger than I needed for one worktop, so I've got plenty left over.

What impressed me most was how close the colour of the stain came to the sample I'd sent off for. I'm fussy about matching old furniture and this one blended almost perfectly with the rest of the set. The tin was well sealed and the instructions on the side were clear and useful, which I always appreciate.

I make wooden chopping boards as a side thing and I needed a food safe finish that wouldn't go gummy. The mineral oil based product here has been good, and I've used it on several boards now. Delivery was fine but the box came with a slight dent on one corner, which is a bit annoying when you're ordering a few litres. The finish itself has been reliable so far.

Compared with the famous brand I usually buy, this works out a fair bit cheaper per litre and goes just as far. The coverage is good on pine. I did find the tin a bit awkward to open without a screwdriver, but that is a small thing. Would order again.

I needed something to protect the dining chairs as the seats had gone rather dull and dusty looking. I was a little disappointed that the order took a few days to be dispatched, though I did receive a helpful email explaining the delay. The finish itself is pleasant enough and has held up well since.

Good for outdoor stuff, sorted my fence panels in a weekend. Lasts through the rain better than the last thing I used. Ordered on the site, quick checkout, arrived well packed.

Picked up the satin water based lacquer for our stair treads and handrail. I've done a few staircases now and this levels better than most I've tried, no brush marks even when I was rushing the second coat. It dries clear and didn't yellow over the first winter, which is more than I can say for a couple of cheaper ones I've used before.

I had been using the own brand wax from the big diy shop for years, and this is a far nicer product by comparison. It goes on smoothly and buffs up to a proper soft sheen rather than that sticky feel. I was a bit concerned about the price at first but it's lasted far longer, so it works out cheaper in the end. The order arrived promptly and well packed.

The first thing I bought was a small tin of the wood wax for a little box my nan gave me. It went on easily and the grain looks properly nice now. Took a few days to arrive, which was fine, but I'd have liked a bit more of an update in the meantime.

Used the teak oil on a set of deck chairs that were in bad shape. The wood soaked it up nicely and it's brought the colour back without any sticky residue. I've tried several products over the years and this is the one I'll reach for now.
