Keen Gardener

My mower had been making a horrible noise and I needed a replacement blade before the lawn got out of hand. Found the right one here and it fitted first time. Sent it off quickly and it turned up two days later.

My old pair snapped on the rose so I needed a replacement quickly before pruning season. Ordered these and they cut through thick stems without any fuss. Good value for what they are.

The bulk compost bag was great value, noticeably more per litre than the garden centre. Arrived on a pallet with no damage. Easy to reorder from the account page. Nothing to complain about for a bag of compost.

Way better than the supermarket for plants, the pots had actual roots in them not just compost. The one thing is the return form was fiddly, took me ages to find the right box. Otherwise the plants are healthy and delivery was fine.

We moved into a flat with a little balcony and I needed compost and feed for the pots before summer. Found this site, placed the order on a Tuesday evening and it arrived the next afternoon. Very happy so far.

The sweet pea seed I got from them had the strongest germination I've seen from any supplier, and I've been sowing these for decades. Packets were clearly labelled with the sowing dates and the varieties were true to name, which is what I look for. Delivery was prompt and the seeds were kept dry in a sealed packet. Very pleased with the whole order.

Compared to ordering the same bulbs from our local garden centre, these came in about a third cheaper once I'd added everything up, and the bag was properly full. The seed potatoes were good sized and the instructions on the packet were clear. I've already put in a second order for the autumn planting and I'll probably keep using them for the rest of the year.

Compared with ordering from the big chain, the bulbs here arrived fresher and were packed in proper cardboard rather than a plastic sack. The site was easy to use on my tablet too. Planted the tulips last week and they're already sprouting.

Bought a set of herb seeds and a small propagator, and they're good quality. The delivery took a while, nearly ten days, and I had to message them to ask where it was. They replied the same day and sorted it out, so not a big deal.

Really good compost and the feed is what I wanted. Delivery took longer than the site said, about a week, which was annoying. The checkout was quick on my phone though, took a minute. Would order again.

I've been growing for about forty years so I know what good seed looks like. The onion sets they sent were a decent size and firm, which is what I'd want. Delivery took a few extra days because of a backlog but I don't mind when the stock is good. Packaging was fine, nothing got crushed. The prices are fair for sets this quality and I'll be ordering again in the autumn.

Compared to the picture, the watering can was smaller than I'd hoped and the spout is a bit flimsy. Ordering was simple enough. It does the job for pots though.

I bought the galvanised raised bed kit after looking at three other places. It went together fine with the bolts and the slats were all there. Delivery was a bit slow, took nearly two weeks, but it turned up in one piece.

Honestly the plants I got are healthy and the site was dead easy to order from on my phone. Arrived the next morning which was mad. Pots are a bit small but fine for a windowsill.

This was my first time ordering from them, and the bulbs for the front border were the detail that caught my eye, each one labelled with the flowering month. The order confirmation came straight away and the package arrived sooner than I expected. The bulbs are firm and healthy, and I'll be back for the autumn ones.

I've been ordering from them for years, so the compost and sweet pea seeds were my usual reorder. The seeds came up well again this year and the compost hasn't changed. The site is easy to use and the box always arrives in one piece.

Really happy with this, the seed trays arrived fine and the site was easy to use on my phone while on the bus. Ordered Thursday and they were here Saturday. Would order again.

Ordered on a Sunday night and it came Tuesday, which is quick. The seeds were properly packed and labelled, no faff. Checkout was simple on my phone. Mates have been asking where I got them.

The trowel and fork set is solid metal with proper wooden handles, not the cheap plastic ones. Good weight in the hand and it came in a neat little box. Happy enough with it.
