Gelpress

Compared to the garden centre I usually use, this was clearly cheaper for the same pack of sprinkler heads. The filters on the site were easy to use to find the right fit for my system. Delivery took four days, which was longer than I'd hoped for a small parcel, and I had to ask once where it was. Otherwise a sound choice.

I needed a set of push fit fittings for a bathroom refit and wanted to avoid paying a premium at the builders' merchant. I compared three sites and this one had the best price with the right sizes listed. The order was straightforward and the parts came in good condition. Happy enough with the choice.

Compared to other sites, this one was dearer for the same bike lock, which was a bit annoying. I ordered it as a first-time customer and the sign-up asked for loads of details before I could even see the price. The lock itself is fine but the delivery took over a week and the tracking didn't update at all. Not impressed.

I needed a replacement shower head that matched our old fitting, and I compared three suppliers before choosing this one. The search let me filter by thread size, which made it simple to get the right one. It was cheaper than the others and arrived quickly. Really pleased with it.

Compared with the other site I tried, this one was way quicker to check out and the card saved for next time. Ordered a pack of gaming mouse feet and they came the next day. Pretty happy with that.

Really quick and easy, ordered on my phone during my lunch break and it was done in about two minutes. The app keeps your details saved so you don't have to type everything in again. Delivery was next day and the box arrived in one piece. Would use them again, no faff at all.

The detail that impressed me most was the clear product description for the replacement window latches, which listed every measurement I needed before I committed. I ordered two sets and they arrived well packaged and exactly as described. The customer assistant I spoke to was thoughtful and took the time to check the fixings were compatible with my frames. I am pleased with the purchase and would be happy to order from them again.

Been buying from them for years now, mostly bits for the car and the garden, and the verdict is they've never let me down. The prices are sensible, the order arrives when it should, and if I've had a question someone on the phone has always known the answer. The last order was a set of hose fittings and everything came as listed. Good people to deal with.

Bought the masonry bit set for drilling into our Victorian brick and they've done the job well. The bits are sharp and the coating holds up, though the case is a bit flimsy and one of the smaller sizes was a fraction off the label. Still, for the price it's a decent kit. Would buy from them again.

Good value for a set of storage boxes, and the price was the lowest I found. The boxes are fine for the money. Returning one that was the wrong shade was a bit of a fiddle though, as the return form asked for a lot of detail and I had to print a label myself. Would still order again.

Got the cable tidy kit for my desk setup and it turned up the next day. Ordered from my phone and the checkout was quick, card details saved. Works fine.

I needed a replacement thermostat for our boiler and didn't want to pay the engineer's markup. The listing had the right part number for my model and the price was well below the local merchant. It arrived in two working days, well packed, and it fitted first time. Checking the compatibility table before ordering saved me a lot of hassle. Good value for a simple part.

Best price I could find for the spare filter set for our dehumidifier, and it arrived the next morning. Ordering took a couple of minutes and the price was clearly marked before checkout. Nothing to complain about.

Bought the phone case from them and it's okay, but the corner isn't as tight as the photos made it look. Delivery took a few days which was fine. Price was decent.

The price on the spare drill battery was the thing that made me pick this site over the others I looked at. It was a good deal compared with the manufacturer's own shop. Fine.

Looked at a few places before buying a set of kitchen drawer organisers, and this one was a little dearer than the cheapest I found. The organisers themselves are sturdy and the size is about right. My only real issue was that the order showed as shipped for three days before anything moved, and the first reply to my query took a couple of days. It got sorted in the end but I had to chase it.

Compared with the big DIY chains, Gelpress was a lot cheaper for the same brand of paint roller and tray I wanted. Checkout was simple and the tracking worked well. Happy with it.
