Garden Troughs

Way better than the plastic one from the shop, this is actually heavy enough to stay put in the wind. Quick to order on my phone during my lunch break. Would get another.

Looked at a few other sites before going with them and the difference in weight was the first thing I noticed when it arrived, the trough is much easier to lift and move around the patio than the heavy ones I compared. Fill is good and the metal is sturdy enough. Would order from them again without a second thought.

Compared it to the trough at the garden centre and this is way lighter to move about. The one from the centre was twice the weight for the same size. Build is a bit less chunky though, feels more like a thin plastic than real metal. Still does the job for a few bits.

I bought the galvanised trough for growing salads on the patio, and I know my planters well after years of growing. The seams are properly welded and the drainage holes are already in place. It arrived well wrapped with no dents. Definitely a good one for the money.

I needed a sturdy trough to replace an old wooden one that had rotted through at the base. Having looked around, I found this one suited the space by the shed very well. It arrived promptly and the fixings were all included as stated. A very pleasing purchase for the garden.

Really good, got exactly what I needed and it arrived before I expected. Ordered from my phone on the bus and the checkout was dead simple, no faff with logging in. The planter itself is solid and the wood looks better in real life than the photos. Will be back for more when the patio project starts.

Honestly this is the one to get if you're growing anything with proper roots. I've been doing allotment planting for about eight years and the depth on this is right where it needs to be for carrots and leeks. The steel is thick enough that it won't bow when the soil is wet, and the drainage holes are already punched so there's no fiddling. Ordered on a Tuesday and it was on my drive by Friday.

Needed something to replace a rotten planter on the shed bench and I wanted it cheap. This does the job, nothing flash but it's decent for what it cost me.

We needed a trough to fill a gap by the back door after the old one cracked over winter. I compared four different sellers before choosing this one, mainly because the dimensions listed matched my measurements and the reviews were consistent. The trough arrived with clear fitting instructions and no damage. The price was reasonable given the thickness of the metal. My husband has already said he wants one for the other side of the path, which tells you something.

Ordered the same zinc trough as last year for the back patio, and it's exactly the same as before. Order was easy to repeat from my account. Delivery was on time, though the driver left it by the side gate rather than the front door like last time.

Good trough for the money, this does everything I needed for the allotment shed. Took a bit longer to arrive than I hoped, about a week. Price is fair and the finish is decent.

Been ordering from them for a few years now and the troughs are as good as always. The site has a slightly odd layout for the size filter, which I always find fiddly. Delivery was fine and the box was in one piece. Nothing major to report.

Bought a long galvanised trough for growing salad leaves on the balcony, and the depth is spot on for the root spread I need. The drainage holes were already drilled, which saved me a job. Packed well, no dents, and the fixings were all there. Knows what I want from a trough and they delivered it properly.

Bought the large steel trough for growing potatoes, after comparing a few options at the local builders merchant. The metal is noticeably thicker than the cheaper ones I looked at, and the bottom drainage holes are already punched. Arrived without a single dent, which I was not expecting from a delivery van. Good value for a proper trough.

Compared it to a well known brand I have used before, and this one is noticeably lighter and the metal feels thinner. The drainage holes are smaller than I would like, so the compost tends to clog. Delivery was prompt and the trough arrived in one piece. For the price it is passable but I would pay a little more for the other.

The first thing I noticed was how big the trough looked on the site, and it turned out smaller in person than I expected. I ordered on the Friday and it took a while to arrive. The planter is fine for the price but the photos were a bit flattering. Not sure I would go back.

I compared this with a trough from a local nursery before ordering, and this one is rather more expensive for the same size. The quality is clearly better, the sides are noticeably thicker, but I did feel the cost was on the high side. The site was easy enough to navigate and the item arrived well packed. A small quibble, but I thought I would mention it.

Needed a trough for my balcony because my mum's garden is getting full. Looks nice and fits the railing ledge. Delivery took a couple of extra days though, just a bit annoying when I'd planned to plant at the weekend.
