It did the job, but I did find a similar one on another site for a few pounds less, so I'd probably check around first next time.

Fine but not the best
The lamp is decent for the money and I'm happy enough with it. Being honest, the colour looks a bit different to the photos, more of a grey than the cream shown on the listing. It works well and feels sturdy, but I'd want to check the colour in person before buying one again.
