Knew what I was after

Needed a specific brand of loose leaf tea that most places don't stock, and I know the area well so I went straight to the category. They had it along with a decent choice of alternatives. Not everything I wanted was there, one line was out of stock, so I had to order it from elsewhere. Otherwise ordering and delivery were smooth.

compared a few before ordering

Had a look at a couple of other sites first and this one came out cheaper on the same basket, so went with them. Order went through quickly and the confirmation email came straight away. Only niggle was the delivery slot being a bit wide, but it arrived when they said.

The cruelty free beauty bit

Was looking for cruelty free shampoo and this site had the whole section sorted by brand and certification, which was the bit I liked. Took ages to sign up though, kept getting asked to verify my email. Stuff came fine.

Dearer than the big supermarket for the same thing

Checked a supermarket delivery slot against this one for a basket of washing up liquid, loo roll and some dishwasher tablets, and this came out about a pound more. Still, the plant based stuff is what I wanted and it's hard to find locally. Arrived in two days, well packed, and the tablets were exactly what I ordered so no complaints there.

About Ethical Superstore

Ethical Superstore is an online retailer based in the United Kingdom that sells ethically sourced products across several categories, including groceries, household goods, personal care, clothing and gifts. The site focuses on items that meet defined ethical standards, such as fair trade, organic, vegan, cruelty-free or plastic-free credentials, and it presents these attributes clearly on product pages so shoppers can compare options. Its customers are people who want everyday purchases to reflect environmental and social values without researching every brand themselves.

The business operates primarily through its website, where it ships orders across the UK and offers a range of brands from small independent producers alongside better-known names. Ethical Superstore curates its catalogue around a single ethical framework, which distinguishes it from general marketplaces where sustainability claims are harder to verify.
