Dulux Decorator Centre

Needed a tin of white for my rented flat's bedroom because the landlord said I could repaint. Ordered it on my phone during my lunch break, super easy. Came quick too.

Ordered a tin of ceiling paint on a Monday and it turned up the next Tuesday week. Site was fine to buy from, nothing wrong with the paint itself, but the wait was annoying when I had the ladders out.

Needed a quick tin of nursery paint before the weekend so I was on my phone at lunch. Found what I wanted, paid and it was booked in straight away. Got the confirmation email within minutes and it came on Friday. Easy, will use again.

Bought the eggshell in a soft grey and it's been great on the landing. Compared to a couple of other places I checked it was a good price. Tins arrived fine.

The first thing I noticed was how much the shade on the screen differed from the tin once it was on the wall. The colour name was correct but it was a touch deeper than I had hoped. I did get a reply from their team within a day when I asked about it, which I appreciated.

Compared to the well known own brand emulsions at the big retailers this is noticeably dearer per litre. I know the cover and finish are good, which is why I bought it, but for a large room I would have looked at other options first. The order itself went through without any issues and it arrived intact.

The first thing I bought was a wood stain for our old pine dining table, which I'd read about on a forum. The colour description on the site was accurate and the tin came well sealed with clear instructions on the label. I put two thin coats on and it looks really nice. The delivery took a few days but it was worth the wait for the result and the advice on sanding was spot on too.

We needed a washable satin for the kitchen walls, so I looked at three or four sites before choosing this one. The filter by finish made it easy to compare, and the price sat in the middle of what I'd seen. The order arrived in good time, though one tin had a slightly dented lid.

Bought a couple of 5 litre tins of the matt emulsion for the spare bedroom. The price per litre was a fair bit lower than the big DIY shed down the road, and it covered in two coats like it said. Delivery was on the slow side but nothing went wrong.

We were doing the front room and I wanted the same emulsion we always use, so I went straight to the site like I always do. Every order has been right in all the years I have bought from them. The staff on the phone know what they are talking about when you ask about coverage. Delivery came in a day or two, as always.

The satin finish is the one I keep coming back for on the kitchen doors. I have ordered it several times now and the tins always turn up in good order. Checkout is still straightforward, and the account saves my last order so I can reorder in a minute.

We were redecorating the hallway after a damp patch and needed a breathable masonry paint that wouldn't trap moisture again. Knew the spec I wanted before I even opened the site, and the filters made it quick to find the right finish and coverage for the walls.

Compared to going into the local store and guessing from the swatches, ordering here with the colour matching tool was much more accurate. The shade looked exactly like the sample card on the wall. Will be using them again for the kitchen.

Having painted for many years I can say this is a sound choice for the kitchen and bathroom. The mould resistant emulsion performed as described and the coverage was sound. Ordering was simple and the goods were delivered as promised.

Honestly this is the place I go back to when I need decorating supplies for the house. The range is good and the paint does what it says for the money. Delivery was a day later than the site said, which was fine, and the rest of the process was smooth.

I compared a couple of other online decorating shops and a few local stores before settling on this one. Their range of finishes was the widest I could find for the metallic and textured effects I wanted. The product information was clear about drying times and how many coats, and the paint went on the way they described. Delivery came quickly and the tins were securely packed. Solid choice.

Compared to popping to the shop on the way home, ordering from here on my phone was quicker and I could see stock. Got a tin of gloss for the door. Easy.

Honestly the best place I have found for specialist exterior paint. The advice on the product pages about preparation and how many coats saved me a lot of trial and error on the shed and fence. Excellent range, sensible prices for the quality, and the tins came well sealed.

Compared with taking the sample pots home from the shop and holding them against the wall, using the online colour tool was much easier. I knew which shade I wanted before checking out. The paint arrived quickly and the colour on the wall matched the tool closely, so I am glad I did not bother going in store.
