Right so the verdict is this is a solid buy for a cheap laptop stand. Was busy and needed it for work from home, so I ordered it on the phone during my lunch break and it was easy enough to do. It arrived the week after and the stand is sturdy, nothing wobbly about it. Adjusts to the height I need and the price was a big plus for me. Would order again without a second thought.
Read moreI bought a cushion cover for the sofa, the velvet one in the listing. The colour was quite a bit darker in person than the photos and the zip is already a bit stiff. I've been using the site for years and this is the first time I've been let down by it, which is disappointing.
Read moreWe needed a replacement thermostat valve for the radiator in the spare room because the old one had seized and the plumber wanted nearly forty quid just to fit a part. Found the same bit on the site for a fraction of that, arrived in about ten days, and it fitted first time with the spanner I already had. Sorted for well under a tenner, which is exactly what I wanted.
Read moreThe first thing I noticed was how many different sellers were on the one page, which I found a little confusing at first. My parcel did take nearly three weeks to reach me, though the seller did reply to my message within a day when I asked.
The first thing that struck me was that the item came from a different seller to the one I thought I was buying from, which took a bit of working out. Price was good though, and the item arrived in about three weeks which is what I expected from a cheap order from abroad. Would order again if I'm not in a rush.

DHGate is an online marketplace based in China that connects buyers in the United Kingdom and elsewhere with a large number of independent sellers, mostly manufacturers and wholesalers in Asia. The site offers a broad mix of goods, including clothing, footwear, electronics, accessories, home products and items for hobbies, and many listings are sold at low prices in bulk or as single units. Buyers browse the platform in English and pay through the site, and orders are shipped directly from sellers, with tracking provided through the DHGate system.
Because products come from many separate sellers, the quality, delivery times and customer service can differ considerably from one listing to the next, and customers frequently rely on seller ratings and buyer feedback when deciding what to order. Questions about returns, refunds and disputes are handled through the site's own resolution process, which is a common point of discussion in customer reviews.
