Compared it to a place down the road that does the same thing, and this one was a fair bit more expensive on the same bag of compost. Delivery wasn't great either, it said next day and turned up three days later with no text to say it was delayed. Plants were fine once they got here but the whole thing felt like a bit of a rip off for what it was.

Compared a few garden centre sites before ordering and this one came out ahead mostly because the bulb order was clearly laid out with planting times for each batch. The bulbs arrived in a box with a little bag of compost for the pots, and they were all firm and healthy when I opened them up. My only niggle is the checkout asked me to create an account before I could pay, which I didn't love.

Been ordering from them for years now and they never let me down. Everything I've ordered over the seasons has turned up in good nick and the site is easy to use on my laptop when I'm planning what to plant next.

Honestly way better than the supermarket one I tried last year. The plant I got was actually the size they show on the site, which is more than I can say for the other place. Quick to order too.

Needed a present for my dad who has got really into growing tomatoes this year, and a friend mentioned these. The order came with a nice little card that I could write on, which was a lovely touch. The only thing was the greenhouse kit took a while to show as in stock, so I had to wait a few extra days.

Looked at a few different places for a raised bed kit and went with these in the end. The timber was good quality and the instructions were clear enough that I had it built in an afternoon. Delivery was a bit slow, it took nearly a week, and the packaging was a bit flimsy so one corner was dented, but nothing was broken.

Needed a replacement hose fitting before the weekend because the old one split. Found it on the site, ordered it on Thursday night and it turned up Friday. Easy and cheap.

Tried a couple of other online nurseries before settling on these rose bushes. The bushes arrived bare root, well packed in damp paper, and they were a good size with healthy roots. I planted them the same week and they've already started to shoot.

The detail I most appreciated was how clearly the seed potatoes were described, with the variety, the chitting advice and the expected cropping period all given. I did find the postage rather high for such a small order, which I thought was a shame. The tubers themselves were firm and well sprouted when they arrived, and I'm pleased with them.

I've been a customer for a good few years so I know what to expect from them. The plants I ordered this spring were healthy and well packed. The only gripe is delivery took longer than the site said it would, nearly a week, and I had to ring up to find out where my order had got to. Still, I'll keep using them for the plants.
