best of the three i looked at

Carethy was the best of the three I looked at for my gran's visits. The other two wanted a long contract up front and couldn't tell me who would be coming. Here I got the same two carers most days, which mattered a lot to her. The booking took a few emails to sort out the times, and the invoice had a line I had to ask about, but that's about it.

needed someone for my wife

I needed someone to look in on my wife during the day while I was at work, as she has been finding the stairs difficult. I did appreciate how carefully the office went through her needs before any visits were arranged. The carers have been courteous and attentive, and the scheduling has been very reliable. I'd say it has been a good arrangement for us.

better than the agency my nan had

Compared to the agency my nan used before, this is way easier to sort out. Booking my granddad's visits on the app took about five minutes. The carers are fine, though one of them was a bit rushed on the last visit.

Visits for my dad after his op

Booked the post op visits for my dad on the site, took about ten minutes between meetings. Carer was lovely and he's been much happier with someone coming in. Only niggle is the confirmation email arrived after the first visit had already happened so I was a bit behind on the timings. Otherwise quick, sorted and I'd use them again.

long standing customer and still happy

I've been using them for about three years now, since my husband's chest got worse and we needed someone in twice a week. The carers are usually the same two faces which I like, and when one is off they ring me the night before rather than leaving me guessing. The only thing that's slipped a bit lately is the invoice, which came late twice and I had to chase it myself.

Went with them after comparing

Went with them after comparing four local providers and they were the most sensible option. Two of the others wanted a minimum hours block I didn't need. The sign up was clear and the carer started within the week. The bill matches what I was quoted, which is more than I can say for my last provider.

Needed a bit of help with my mum's care

My mum had a fall in the spring and the hospital said she couldn't go back home without someone checking in on her, so I was looking for a care provider I could trust. I'd never used one before and didn't know what to expect. The sign up was simple, someone rang me the next day to talk through what she needed, and the carer turned up on time the first week. It's been a relief honestly.

looked at a few and this was the one

Had a look at three other companies before picking these, mostly on price and how fast they could start. Signing up on the site took me around fifteen minutes, and the first visit was booked for the following Monday. The carer turned up on time, explained everything clearly, and I haven't had to ring anyone since.

Knew what to look for

I've worked in home care myself so I know what a decent provider looks like. How it compares to the big agencies is that the carers here get proper training and rotate less than most. The start was smooth, the scheduling was accurate, and the team checked in after the first week. Good solid care with no fuss.

weekly support visits for my dad

I booked a block of weekly support visits for my dad, mostly for help with washing and meals. The price is fair for what you get and it worked out cheaper than the local agency I had quoted. The carer arrived on time most weeks, but one Tuesday the visit was about twenty minutes late with no call beforehand. Not a big deal, but I'd have liked a heads up.
