Butterworth's

Went with them instead of my usual supermarket van this week and the basics came out a bit cheaper, which I was pleased about. The bin bags and loo roll were the same brand I always get. Slot was easy to pick and the driver rang before he arrived, nothing to complain about really. Only thing is the minimum spend is higher than I'd like so I had to add a few extra bits I didn't need.

Two items were missing from my order and I only noticed when I unpacked it. I messaged the site and got a reply the next morning, which was fine, but it took a couple of emails before the refund went through. Prices are fair and the delivery was on time.

I have been ordering from them since they started and they still keep the regulars sorted. Used to be the Tuesday slot but I moved to a Saturday and the change was easy to make on the account page. The only thing I miss is they used to write a little note on the bags, but I suppose that went when they got busier.

Ordered a birthday cake for my nan and picked a delivery slot for the morning. The cake came in a box that was already dented on the side, but the cake inside was fine and tasted lovely. They refunded the box part straight away when I sent a photo. Would order again.

Didn't expect the basket to show how far off the free delivery I was until I had already added the milk. Ended up adding a multipack of crisps to get over the line. The app was quick and the order turned up the next morning, fresh and where I'd asked.

Best thing about it was the slot picker, I could choose a window in about ten seconds on my phone while waiting for the kettle. Got my usual weekly bits, milk, bread, a couple of ready meals and some fruit. Everything arrived in the right slot and the driver rang ahead. Didn't have to think about it at all which is exactly what I wanted this week.

Compared it with my usual online shop and the same brand of washing powder and bin bags came in a fair bit under what I normally pay. Delivery was on the day they said and the driver put everything away in the right cupboards without being asked. Nothing flashy about it, just does the job for the money.

Ordered a bag of salad leaves and a pack of chicken thighs for a quick tea after the gym. Everything was fresh and the chicken was still cold when it got here. Easy to order from the app, took about two minutes.

First time ordering from them and the shop itself was easy enough to get round. Delivery came on the day but one of the tins was dented and the reply to my message took three days. Prices were about average for what I bought. I'd probably try again but I'd want the refund sorted quicker.

Had a dinner party on Saturday and realised I had nothing decent in for pudding or the wine. Ordered it all Friday night and it arrived Saturday morning, everything chilled properly. Nice one.
