The handle I ordered for the back door arrived in a box with the fixings bagged separately, which I thought was very sensible of them. I had my husband fit it on the Saturday and it lined up perfectly first time. Their website was easy to navigate and the order tracking kept me informed without me having to ring anyone. I was quite pleased with the whole business, really, and the price was fair for what we got.

Compared it to the usual online place I use for tools and this one was a bit dearer on the same drill bit set. The order itself was quick and easy on my phone, nothing to complain about there. Delivery took two days longer than I was told, which was annoying, but the bits work fine.

Needed some masking tape and a roller for a flat I'm sorting out. Ordered on the app on Sunday and it was with me by Tuesday. Only thing is the roller came in a slightly smaller pack than the picture showed, but it does the job.

Bought a box of stainless deck screws, the 4mm by 50mm ones, for a fence repair in the garden. They came in a sturdy box with no damaged heads, which is more than I can say for some suppliers. The price was a fair bit higher than the big builders merchant I usually use, though. Delivery was on time and the packing was tidy, so it's a small gripe rather than a real problem.

Went with them for a bag of gravel and a bag of sand for the patio. The price per bag was lower than the garden centre and the order was easy enough to put together online. Everything arrived in one piece on the pallet, which was a relief. For the money it was good value and I would use them again.

Needed a replacement cable for the kettle at short notice because the old one frayed and I was going out. Found it on the site, ordered on my phone during my lunch break, and it turned up the next morning. Checkout was quick, no faff with logins. Works perfectly, so yeah, sorted.

Been ordering from them for about eight years now and the detail I always notice is how the reorder history makes it so simple to top up things like picture hooks and wall plugs. The prices have crept up a bit over the years but the stock has never let me down. Last month a bag of screws arrived with one missing from the bag, and they sent the extra straight away without any fuss. Good people to deal with.

The site beat my usual trip to the big chain down the road, mainly because I could see stock and prices without a long wander around the shop. I was after a set of replacement hinges for a kitchen cabinet door. The order went through without any trouble and the hinges were exactly what I needed. I shall go back to them next time.

Ordered a set of outdoor lights for the back fence and they did the job in the end. The order itself was simple enough to place through the site. It did take nine days to turn up though, longer than the date they gave me, and nobody let me know until I asked. Shame, as the lights are decent enough.

Picked up a big terracotta plant pot for my balcony, the one with the little saucer underneath. Found it while scrolling and it was in my basket in about two minutes. It arrived a day later than I'd hoped, but the pot is well made and the colour is lovely, so I'm not really bothered.
