Better Bathrooms

Checked the big name store first and this was a fair bit less for the same mixed tap set. Ordering was quick and it came in three days. Good value, nothing to complain about.

I'd say it's a sound bit of kit for the money. The bath panel fitted neatly, the instructions were clear enough, and the customer service people answered my single query about the fixings within a day. Nothing to complain of, though I would have liked a slightly better finish.

Bought a set of wall panels for our wet room, and I ordered extra in case of cutting errors. The panels came flat-packed and the edges were clean, which made fitting much easier than the last lot I tried. Delivery was on time and the price worked out well once I added up what I'd have paid locally, so I'm pleased with it.

I needed a replacement soft close seat for my mother's bathroom after the old one cracked, and I was rather glad to find them so quickly. The order went through without any fuss and the seat arrived within the week. It is a good quality product, although the hinges were a little stiffer than I'd have liked, and it's been fitted without any bother since.

Ordered a set of basic chrome towel rails and a new bath panel for the spare room. Price was lower than the places I checked and the order went through quick. Delivery came in two days, boxes were fine, nothing damaged. Easy to fit with the instructions included. Not much more to say, it did the job and cost less than I expected.

Compared it with the big DIY chain and a couple of other online places before settling on these for a set of towel rails. Here they were a fair bit cheaper, though the chain would have had them in store the same afternoon. Took about four working days to arrive and the packaging was a bit dented, nothing broken.

Bought a thermostatic mixing valve for an en suite conversion and I'd have expected the spec to match the product page better. The flow rate is lower than what's shown and I had to rework the pipework a bit to get decent pressure. Plumber was fine with it but it cost me a day I didn't have, and the returns form took ages to get through.

Honestly it's fine. Bought a basic extractor fan for the bathroom, it works and it was cheap. The fitting instructions are a bit vague so took me longer than it should have to get the duct right, but yeah, no real complaints.

Landlord wouldn't sort it so I ordered one from here on a Sunday night. Ordering was dead easy and it turned up Tuesday, fitted it in five minutes. Only thing, the box was bigger than it needed to be but whatever, does the job and the price was fair for what you get.
