Bedding Envy

We were having my sister and her husband to stay, and my old sheets had gone thin, so I needed something presentable quickly. The set I chose is lovely and the cotton feels pleasant against the skin. I did find the returns form a little fiddly to print, though it worked out in the end and I'm glad I ordered.

Way nicer than the sheets I got from the supermarket last year, they don't pill at all and the fabric feels proper crisp. Ordered on a Sunday and they turned up Tuesday. Would get them again, the set was dead good value.

Verdict: these are good quality and the stitching is neat, I've bought from this shop before and I know the fabric well. The price is a little above what I'd usually pay for the same thread count. Delivery came within the window they gave me.

Bought the cotton pillowcases in grey. They're soft enough and the zip didn't snag. Took about four days to arrive which was okay, nothing to complain about really, just not as quick as I'd hoped.

I ordered a super king duvet and it's a touch smaller than I expected, so it doesn't quite reach the corners of my bed. I know the sizes well and the label said what it said, so it's on me partly. Still warm enough, but I'd check the dimensions carefully before ordering.

I'd looked at a couple of other sites first for a memory foam mattress topper, and this one was a bit cheaper than the big names so I went with it. The checkout was quick enough but the delivery window was a day later than they first said, and it turned up with a small dent in the corner of the box. The topper itself is fine and my back's happier, but I'd have liked the heads up.

Ordered a set of bath towels and two bath mats in the end of the sale and they were honestly half what I'd have paid on the high street. They arrived in two days, the towels are thick enough and the mats don't slide about, which is all I wanted. Nothing to complain about for the money.

Go for this one if you want a decent mattress topper without spending a fortune. I compared it with two other brands and this came out cheapest for the same depth. Arrived rolled up in a box, easy to unfold, and the sleep has been better since.

My neck was giving me grief after years on a flat pillow, so I finally needed something with proper support. I've tried plenty over the years and know what I'm after, and this one has a firm but not hard feel. Ordering was simple and the thing arrived well wrapped, very happy with it.

Compared to the cheap polyester set I had before, these cotton ones breathe so much better in summer and I don't wake up sweaty. They cost a bit more but they've lasted through twenty washes already. Good value, I reckon, for what you get.
