Baker Ross

Bought a big pack of pom poms and some thick card for a school project and the colours were spot on. Quality is good, nothing flimsy about the glitter sheets either. Would have liked a few more sizes of googly eyes but that is a minor thing. Easy to find everything by category.

Great service, ordered on my lunch break and it arrived the next working day. Site is easy to use on my phone, checkout took about two minutes. Had a question about a bulk pack and got a reply from their team within the hour which was a nice surprise. Will definitely use again for the kids craft stuff.

Bought the party bundle for my daughter's sixth birthday, the one with the mini crowns and the glitter tattoos. Everything arrived in one box and the crowns were good quality, not cheap plastic. Checkout was really straightforward and I got an email with tracking straight away. The kids were happy and so was I.

I was rather pleased with how the site laid out my order, which was clear to follow from start to finish. One item was missing from the box when it arrived, and I did have to wait a few days for a reply to my email before it was sorted. They did put it right in the end.

I had been comparing with a local craft shop before I ordered and I did find some of the same kit a little cheaper there. The box arrived with the items as listed and the packing was tidy enough. Customer service answered my email but it took a couple of days. Perfectly satisfactory, though I may look elsewhere next time for the basics.

Needed a load of washable glue fast for the nursery trip on Friday. Ordered late one night and it landed the next morning. One bottle was a bit leaky in the box, nothing major but I had to wipe it off the others. Otherwise decent and the price was fair.

Needed sequins and felt for a kids' club session and I was looking at three different sites first. This one came out a bit more expensive once delivery was added on. The items themselves were what I expected and the delivery was on time. Would have liked a cheaper delivery option for smaller orders.

Compared with the craft warehouse I used to use, this site has a far better range of wooden shapes and card, and I can find things without trawling through pages. I've been ordering from them for about six years now for the reception class. Delivery has been reliable apart from one order that came a day late, and the prices are a touch higher than elsewhere. Still my first stop.

Verdict is they are still the best place I have found for plain wooden craft shapes. I have ordered the same blank hearts and stars three times now and they are consistent every time. Sizes match the description and the edges are smooth enough for the kids to paint without splinters. Delivery is quick and the packaging keeps everything in place.
