Ashanti Rugs

Honestly this was a bit of a letdown. I've bought from them before and the last rug was lovely, but this one arrived with a faint smell of the packaging and the pile was flatter than the pictures suggested. The price was on the high side for what turned up. I emailed about it and the reply took nearly a week, which was frustrating. Won't be rushing back.

Compared it with a rug I'd been eyeing in a big department store and this was about a third less for a similar wool pile, which is why I went for it in the end. The rug itself is thick and the colours look like the photos. Happy with the value.

Good rug, really soft and heavier than I expected. Only thing is sending one back is a bit of a pain, you have to print the label and find a drop off point. Ordering was quick and it arrived in about four days. Would buy from them again.

Moved into a new flat with bare floorboards and the echo was driving me mad. Needed something to put under the sofa and the coffee table to soften things. Found one that fit the space and ordered it. Arrived in good nick and the price was fair for what it is.

Rug is really nice, the pattern is cute. Bit pricey tbh compared to some other sites but the colours are better. Delivery was quick, got it in a few days. Happy enough.

Bought the grey runner for the bottom of the stairs. Came in a box with a bit of tissue, nothing damaged. Colour is a little more blue than the photo but still nice. Delivery was next day which was handy. Price was ok, not the cheapest I found.

The rug itself is fine but it looked a bit darker on the screen than it did in real life, more of a mushroom than the taupe I was after. Delivery was quick, three days, and it came rolled up tight in plastic. Didn't bother sending it back in the end as it's going in the spare room, but I did think about it. Would probably try them again for a smaller mat.

Bought a small mat for the bathroom as a first order with them. Checkout was easy and I got a confirmation straight away. It came in a padded envelope within three days and the mat is thick and dries quickly. Good value for a small one.

Compared to the big shops on the high street, this was a fair bit cheaper for the same sort of wool, and that's why I've kept coming back. I've ordered for the kitchen, the front room and now a runner for the stairs, and every time it's turned up within the week. The site is easy enough to use and I know what I'm getting. Had one query about sizing and they got back to me the same afternoon.

Needed a runner for the hallway after the old one got ruined by the dog. Wanted something hard wearing and easy to clean. Ordered on the Tuesday and it came the Friday, rolled up nicely. Looks great down the hall and the price was fine.
