Artsy Mats

Needed some heavy cartridge paper for a portfolio thing and ordered in a rush. Got the wrong size, the A3 instead of the A2 I picked. Emailed them and it took about three days to get a reply, which was annoying when the deadline was close. They sorted it eventually but I'd have liked it quicker.

We needed a proper blackout blind for the spare room because my husband works nights and sleeps in the day. I looked at a few places before ordering, and this was a fair bit cheaper than the big chains for what we got. Ordered on a Monday, it turned up the following week, fitted without any fuss and does the job brilliantly. The fabric feels solid and the instructions were clear enough that I didn't need to ring anyone.

Ordered a sketchbook and got a free pencil thrown in which was a nice surprise lol. Site was easy to use on my phone, checkout took about a minute. The sketchbook itself is good but the cover corners are a bit bent so i'd check it when it arrives. Would probably order again.

Bought the pack of small canvases for a uni project and they're decent. The site was easy to use and delivery was quick, just a day later than they said. Colours on the screen looked a touch brighter than the real thing but not by much. Good for the price, would order again.

I purchased a set of fine liner pens for my sister's birthday card work. The ordering process was straightforward, though I did have to create an account before I could complete the purchase, which I found a little irritating. The pens are lovely and the nibs are very fine indeed. The postage was rather more than I had expected for such a small parcel, and the delivery took four working days, which was acceptable but not quick.

Honestly this is the best first order I've had from an online shop in a while. I'd been putting off buying a proper pair of artist's easels for ages and I finally got round to it. Checkout was quick, I could pay with my card straight away, and the confirmation email came through within a couple of minutes. The easel arrived in one piece and the wood is nicer than I expected for the money.

Compared with the art shop in town, ordering from here saved me a trip and a fair bit of money on the same brand of pencils. I had been told the local shop would have them in stock, but they didn't. The order came through in a few days and everything was as described. I have since bought a sketchbook and some fixative. It is all very sensible and I'd be happy to order again.

Ordered a set of gouache paints and they arrived in a couple of days. Packaging was sound and nothing got squashed. Would definitely order again, just wish the postage was a bit cheaper.

What struck me most was the range of watercolour paints on offer, far more than I expected from a site of this kind. I've been painting in a small way for years and I was pleased to find the pans came in good sizes. The order arrived well packed and the tin was undamaged. The customer service team answered my question about shades promptly and politely. I'm very pleased indeed.

Went for this instead of my usual craft supplier because the price on the same acrylic paints was noticeably lower. Quality seems much the same to me, the colours mix well and the tubes didn't leak. The order was packed sensibly and came in good time. Not a single thing I'd change so far.
