Aircraft Model Store

Needed a birthday present for my boyfriend who's obsessed with planes and this was the easiest place to find something. Picked a Concorde kit with a nice box. Arrived wrapped up properly and he was chuffed, so yeah, sorted. Bit pricey but it's a model plane, what do you expect.

Way better than the big toy shop I usually go to for models. Their range of paints is loads wider and the stuff actually arrived in two days. Didn't expect much but the Airfix tin was just what I wanted for my nephew. Good stuff.

Bought the 1/48 Spitfire kit after looking at about four others on different sites, and this one came with the decals I actually wanted. The instructions are clear enough that I didn't have to keep ringing round for help. Parts fitted well, the wing join was tidy, and the box was packed sturdy enough that nothing had rattled about. Happy with it.

Ordered a set of spare wheels for my little rc trainer and they arrived the next day in a padded envelope. Only tiny niggle is the listing said fits most sizes and I had to check which one fitted myself, but happy enough.

Good place for scale kits and I've been ordering from them for years. The Mustang I got recently is exactly what the listing showed, nothing missing from the box. Delivery came in a day and a half. Would go back.

Was supposed to come on the Tuesday but turned up the Friday, no real explanation. The kit itself is fine, the Spitfire I got is nice. Price was decent for what it is. Would've given more if it had come when it said.

Honestly worth it for the range, they have stuff other places don't. Ordered a Harrier kit and a tube of cement, both turned up in good nick. Checkout was a bit fiddly on my phone and I had to retype my address twice, but once it went through it was fine. Would order again.

Got the acrylic paint set from them to go with a Tiger tank kit. Looked round a few other places first and this was a bit cheaper than most. Only thing is the delivery took four days and the courier left it at a neighbour's, which was annoying. Colours are good though.

Needed a replacement canopy for a Hurricane I'd built years ago, as the old one had cracked. Found the right one here but it took a while to show up, nearly three weeks, and I had to email twice to find out where it was. The part itself is fine and fits as it should. Just slow.

Bought a Corsair kit and the decals looked a little off from the photo, the blue is darker than I expected. Still fits together well and the instructions are good. Delivery was quick. Not a dealbreaker.
