AirCon Direct

Really good, ordered the portable aircon for the office and it arrived in two days. Setup was simple and it cools the room fine. Only thing is the hose needed a bit of fiddling to get it sealed in the window, but otherwise no complaints at all. Would buy from them again, saves me having to go into town for one.

I ordered the window air conditioning unit for my sitting room back in June and it arrived in good order, well packed in the box with all the brackets included. The fitting instructions were clear enough that my son-in-law managed it in an afternoon. The only thing I'd mention is that the delivery window was a little wide, but they did keep me informed by text on the day.

Best value window unit you will find for the money, the cooling output is right for a standard bedroom. Lots of people overpay at the big names for basically the same thing. Ordered Friday, delivered Monday.

The first thing I noticed was how clear the sizing guide was on the site, which helped a lot because I had no idea what btu I needed for my small loft room. The checkout asked a couple of questions about the room and that was it. Delivery took about four days and the driver phoned ahead. Installation instructions could be a bit clearer on the bracket part, took me longer than it should have.

Bought the portable one for my bedroom after comparing about four different sites. Price was the deciding factor and it was lower than the others, plus the spec looked right. Ordered on a Thursday and it came through the next Monday in good condition. Setting it up was simple and it has kept the room cool through the hot nights. Happy with it so far.

Our bedroom got stupidly hot in July and I could not sleep so I went looking for a cheap portable unit. Ordered on a Sunday night and it turned up Tuesday. Works well, quiet enough at night. The box was a bit battered when it came but the unit itself was fine.

Compared it against two other sites and this one came out cheapest by a fair margin. The unit itself is decent. Had to send one back because the remote was missing and the returns form was fiddly to fill in, took a few emails to get a return label. Not the end of the world but a bit of a faff.

Had a look at a few places before settling on them, mainly because the price on the one I first found was a bit silly. What stood out most was the delivery, the box came with a tracking link that actually worked and it turned up on the day they said. Checkout was fine but the returns page is a bit buried if you ever need it.

Compared it against the big electrical chains and this was roughly a third less for the same kind of unit. Ordering was quick and the price stayed the same at checkout. Fitted it myself in an afternoon. Does the job and the running costs seem about normal so far. Not much else to say really.

We needed something to keep the nursery cool after our daughter was born, as it faces the afternoon sun and gets unbearable by six. Found a portable unit on the site for less than I'd expected and it does the job properly. Ordering took about five minutes, the checkout was quick and it turned up two days later. Running costs are fair and it's quiet enough at night.
