Wanted to clear a loan early so I went looking for the early repayment option. Found it in the app in about a minute and the balance was sorted the same day. Easy, quick, no calling anyone.

I took out a personal loan through them to consolidate two cards. The application itself was simple enough but the identity check kept asking for the same document twice, so approval took three days rather than the one I'd been told. Once it was approved the money landed quickly and the monthly payment is what I expected.

They were the best of the lot I looked at. Checked three others first and their rates and fees were all more fiddly to work out. Sorted in a day.

Compared with the bank I used to go to, this is much less bother for me. I've had two loans with them now and the process hasn't changed, apply, approval, money in my account a day or so later. Customer service on the phone is always polite.

What stood out most was how they send a reminder a few days before each repayment, which I found really useful. I've been with them for years and the account page has always been clear. Good people to deal with when I've needed to change my payment date.
