The revision bundle

I bought the revision bundle for my two kids and it's been good value so far. The practice tests come with answers and the explanations are easy to follow. It was a bit fiddly getting the second child's login set up, the account page doesn't make it obvious, but support sorted it out. Would happily renew.

needed a boost before my resits

I needed help catching up before my resits and the site was the quickest option I found. Signed up on my phone during a lunch break and got going straight away. The one thing that annoyed me was the app kept logging me out every few days, which is a bit of a pain when you're in the middle of a practice paper. Otherwise it does the job.

Good first month

Started the course for my maths retake and it's been a good first month. The lessons are short enough to fit around work, and the practice questions get harder at a sensible pace. The only thing that threw me was the login email took a while to arrive, but it turned up in the end.

the year 9 maths pack

Bought the year 9 maths pack for my son after looking at two other sites and a bookshop option. The pack came with a printable workbook plus access to the video lessons, which was more than the others offered for the money. He's been using it three evenings a week and his test scores have crept up. Setup took five minutes and the password reset worked first time when I forgot mine.

Better than the tutor down the road

Compared to the local tutor I was paying for before, this was a huge saving and honestly the lessons are just as good. My son does his maths sessions on the laptop after tea and I can check the progress page from my phone while I'm waiting for the kettle. The worksheets download quickly and the videos don't buffer much even on our rubbish wifi. Happy with it.

needed it for uni applications

I needed a way to brush up my maths before starting my degree and this seemed like the right thing. Signed up on my laptop and got started the same day, which I wasn't expecting.

The sessions drag on a bit

The first thing I noticed was how long each video lesson runs, nearly forty minutes for a topic that could be done in twenty. My daughter got a bit bored halfway through and wandered off. The content itself is fine and the maths explanations are clear. Just wish there were shorter options for the younger ones.

the chemistry course

Bought the GCSE chemistry course for my little brother after mum got fed up with him not revising. It loads fine on the app and he actually watches the videos without moaning. Only downside is you can't download the lessons for when the wifi drops.

Needed help for the kids

Our youngest was falling behind in reading and we needed something cheap that actually worked. Signed up in a few minutes, got the first lesson running straight away and the progress reports are clear. Good for the money.

Not quite what i expected

I had been using a tutor agency before and was hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. The lessons are reasonable, though I found the pace quicker than I would have liked for my grandson. Customer support took a few days to reply when I had a question about the account.

A sensible way to study

The lessons are a sensible way to study for my accounts qualification, which I'm doing in later life. I appreciated being able to pause and rewind the videos at my own pace. The payment page asked me several times to confirm my details, which was slightly tiresome, but once I was in everything worked well.

The progress tracker sold me

I looked at three options before picking this one, and what sold me was the progress tracker. You can see exactly which topics your child has covered and where they're struggling. It's the sort of detail the others didn't bother with.

Needed it for my daughter

We needed a way to get my daughter through her Year 4 spellings after school got in touch about her progress. Signing up was easy and the first lesson started the same evening.

quicker than the library

Compared to going to the library every Saturday for the reading scheme, this is way quicker to fit around work. The videos are short enough to watch on the train.

exactly what we needed

Exactly what we needed for our son's Year 6 SATs prep. Having used a couple of paid workbooks before, this is far more engaging and the feedback on his answers is genuinely useful. The lessons are short, the reports are clear, and he actually asks to do the next one.

Sign up was quick

Really easy to sign up and get going, took about five minutes on my phone. Lessons load fine on the app even on a dodgy train connection. Would do it again.

cheaper than the agency

Compared to the tutor agency I used last year, this works out a fair bit cheaper per month and I get to pick the lessons myself. The only thing I'd flag is the price creeps up if you add the extra practice papers, which I didn't expect. Still, for what we got it's good value and my son's Year 11 maths has improved.

Solid for a science course

This is a good course for anyone doing GCSE chemistry. The topic breakdown is logical, the practice questions match the exam board style, and the mark schemes are easy to follow. I've used a few revision platforms and this one has the most sensible structure. Would go with it again for the next year group.
