I switched from the supermarket blend years ago and haven't looked back. The beans taste noticeably fresher than anything I used to pick up at the big shop, and the flavour notes actually match what's on the packet. I've been ordering every few weeks since 2016 and the service has always been reliable and polite.

Needed a decaf for evenings after my cutback on caffeine, and most decafs taste like cardboard. This one has a proper sweetness and a nice chocolate finish, which is rare. Ordered the 250g and it was fresh. Price is on the higher side for decaf but I'd pay it again.

The tasting notes on the bag actually matched what I got, which surprised me because I've been let down before. The beans were fresh and the grind was fine for my aeropress. Took a little longer to arrive than I expected, about five days, but it was well packed.

Got the colombian filter blend, lovely and fruity. Had a question about grind size and it took two days to get a reply, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise all fine, bag arrived sealed and fresh.

Bought the 250g bag of the house espresso blend to see if it was worth the switch from my usual. It's a bit more than the supermarket but the crema is good and it lasts me about three weeks at two shots a day. The only thing is the bag doesn't reseal very well so I've started decanting into a jar.

The Ethiopian single origin they sent had that proper bright blueberry note you get from a good washed coffee, not the muddy stuff you find in cheaper bags. The roast date was printed clearly on the bag, which I always check. I brew it as a V60 and the cup stays clean all the way down. Grinding on the finest setting for espresso worked well too, nice and even.

The guatemalan filter roast is clean and balanced, with a nice bit of cocoa. Anyone who knows their beans will like the washed process. Brewed it in a chemex and it held together well. Good stuff.

the grind setting is spot on for my moka pot, never had that before. ordered on a tuesday and it turned up thursday, nice and quick. the bag was still fresh when i opened it, which i liked. will probably order again.

The roast is consistent from bag to bag and it grinds evenly in my old burr grinder. I was a bit wary about buying in bulk but the freshness held up well and I've not had a stale bag yet. It's a fair price for what you get.
