First order went smoothly

Got the sampler to start with and I'm glad I did, the box had plenty of different teas to try. Checkout was easy and I got an email with tracking the same day. The leaves were a bit smaller than I expected from the photos but they still brewed well. Think I'll be back for a bigger bag of whichever one I liked best.

Better than the high street

Compared with the tea I used to buy from the high street, this is a clear step up. The Darjeeling has real muscatel notes and doesn't go stewed after a few minutes. I've been ordering for years now and it's rare that a batch disappoints. Good value for the quality.

bulk loose leaf for the office

We needed something cheap to keep the office kitchen stocked after the old supplier put their prices up. Ordered the big bag of loose leaf green tea and it works out far less per cup than the supermarket brands. Brews well, staff have stopped complaining, and it arrived quicker than I expected.

Reliable every month

I've had a standing order for the Assam breakfast blend for close to four years now. We went through a rough patch where money was tight and I cut back on coffee, and this stayed on the list. Price has crept up a little over the years but not so much I'd switch. Delivery has been reliable every single month, which is all I ask for.

Smoky lapsang

Been drinking lapsang souchong for years and this one has the right amount of smoke without tasting like a bonfire. The leaves are long and dark which tells you they've been picked well. Price is about where you'd expect for a good one. Solid buy.

Good value for daily green tea

Best value I've found for a daily green tea. The sencha is smooth without any bitterness, and a single bag lasts us a good few weeks. Ordering was simple and the price per cup beats the posh coffee shop by miles. Stick with it if you drink a lot of tea.

A sensible alternative to the chain stores

I'd been buying my tea from a well-known chain, but I found their blends rather weak and expensive for what they are. Turning to this company was a sensible change, and the English breakfast blend has real body to it. The loose leaf needs a proper steep but that is hardly a fault. I have been pleased with every order so far.

Jasmine pearls

The little tea balls that open up into flowers on the first pot. Honestly didn't expect that much from a basic jasmine tea. Shipped fast too, got it the next working day. Reordering already.

Cute gift and tasty too

Grabbed a little gift set for my nan's birthday and she's been drinking it every afternoon since. The tins look nice on the side and the tea itself is smooth. Got it delivered quick enough to wrap in time. Would get again.

Way better than the shop bags

I'd always bought builders tea from the big supermarket, so trying loose leaf from here was a bit of a leap. The difference in taste is obvious even with a teaspoon of leaves and a strainer. Took a few goes to get the steep time right but it's worth the fiddle.

Worth it for oolong

Really pleased with the oolong, it's a proper roast and has that buttery finish I look for. Tasting notes on the site were accurate, which is more than I can say for some places. Ordering was simple and the confirmation came straight away. The only thing is the tin was slightly dented on arrival but the tea inside was fine.

The tins are gorgeous

The tins are honestly the best bit, they look so nice on the shelf. Tea itself is lovely too, I've been having the green one after lectures and it's proper calming. Ordered on a Tuesday and it turned up Thursday, no complaints from me. Will be ordering again soon.

way better than the supermarket matcha

Used to buy a supermarket matcha for the odd latte, but after a while it tasted flat and a bit chalky. This one is a much brighter green with a proper fresh grassiness, and it whisks up without leaving bits at the bottom. A tin lasts me much longer than the supermarket version did, so the cost works out fine. I've been ordering it every few months since.

Christmas hamper tea

I needed a few tins of something nice for the family over Christmas and didn't have time to shop around. Went for the festive blend and the spice notes are just right, not overpowering. Everyone commented on it and I've been asked where it came from.

great for a first try

Just got my first order and I'm already hooked. The vanilla rooibos is sweet without being sugary and it's lovely with a splash of milk. Ordering was quick and easy, nothing confusing at checkout. Think I'll be back for more.

About TeaVivre

TeaVivre is an online tea merchant that sells loose-leaf teas sourced largely from China, with a focus on green, oolong, black, white and scented varieties. The range extends to teaware such as gaiwans, teapots and infusers, along with gift sets and sampler collections that suit those new to loose-leaf tea. The company presents its teas with descriptions of origin, harvest style and brewing guidance, which allows customers to choose by flavour profile rather than by brand alone.

TeaVivre sells directly through its website to customers across the United Kingdom and other markets, shipping orders as loose-leaf packs and sample sizes. Its customer base includes everyday tea drinkers who want to move beyond tea bags as well as enthusiasts who follow regional Chinese tea traditions.
