Bought the family lasagne box for my first order and was not sure what to expect. It came in one piece, layers were neat and it reheated in the oven without going dry. Easy to order, nothing to fuss about, good first experience.
Read moreCompared with the big delivery apps this came out a fair bit more expensive once the delivery charge was added, which I did not expect. The pasta itself was fine and properly cooked. I would have liked a clearer price breakdown before I placed the order.
Read moreOrdered the fresh egg tagliatelle and I know my pasta having worked in restaurants for years. The texture was spot on, with a good bite and a sheen to the surface that tells you the eggs are in properly. The ragu was rich and balanced, not too sweet. Delivered chilled and well packed, and it held up nicely when I finished it in the pan. Good kitchen, good product.
Read moreNeeded something quick after a late shift and this did the job. Ordered on the app in the car, the checkout was quick. Sauce was a bit thin for my liking but the pasta was decent and it arrived in good time.
Compared with the meal kit I was using before, this felt quite similar in taste but needed a bit more faff to cook. The pasta was good and the sauce held together well. The website could tell me more about cooking times though, I guessed a couple of times.
I needed something to keep in the freezer for those evenings when my wife is at her choir and I don't fancy cooking. The pasta reheated nicely and the portions are sensible. The delivery slot I picked was a little later than I'd hoped, but nothing that spoiled the evening.
