Spirits & Spice

The first thing I noticed was how wide the range is, with a few hard to find brands all in one place. I compared it against two other shops and the spice blends were genuinely good value. The bottle I ordered was a little pricier once postage was added, which is my only real gripe. Delivery itself was fine and it arrived in good nick.

Worth it for what you get. The bottles were a fair price for the size and I didn't feel I'd overpaid, which is more than I can say for some places. Delivery was prompt and the box was sturdy. Ordering was simple enough, though I did have to look twice for the discount code box.

Bought the spiced rum for a night in with the girls. Checkout took about a minute on my phone and it turned up the next afternoon. Nothing to complain about, did the job.

Really good, would order again. Placed my order on my phone during my lunch break and it was straightforward, delivery came the next morning. Easy to find the mixers I needed for a dinner party.

Bought the gin and a case of tonic together and it worked out cheaper than buying them separately from the big supermarket sites. Delivery came a day early and everything was fine. Only small niggle is the delivery charge is on the high side for a small order.

Needed a present for my dad's sixtieth and wanted something a bit special. Found a good bottle here and the ordering was really simple. It turned up when they said it would and Dad was chuffed with it.

I checked this against another drinks site first and the bottle I wanted was cheaper there, even after their postage. The item here was fine when it came and the packaging was decent. Returning a bottle that wasn't right was a bit of a faff though, you have to fill in a form and wait for a reply before anything happens. Would probably look elsewhere next time.

Got the spiced rum for a flat night and it was honestly good. Ordered on the app, arrived quick. Only thing is the checkout made me sign in twice which was annoying lol.

Needed a bottle quick for a stag do and this was the only place that had it in stock on a Friday. The order went through but then the delivery didn't turn up until the Tuesday, which was far too late. Customer service took two days to reply to my email and by then the weekend was gone.

Compared it with two other drinks sites before picking this one and the prices here were a fair bit lower for the same bottles. The order came in three days, well packed, and the bottle was exactly what I wanted for my dad's birthday. Would happily use them again.

First time ordering from here and the bottle of prosecco arrived in one piece. The site was easy to use and I liked that it showed the delivery date at checkout. Only thing is the label on mine was a bit scuffed, but the drink was fine.

I was particularly struck by the spice selection, which is far more varied than I expected from an online shop. The saffron I ordered was very fresh and the aroma was lovely. The account sign up took a little longer than I would have liked, with a few steps I had to repeat, but I got there in the end and would be happy to order again.

Compared it to the bigger supermarket websites and this beat them on the choice of vermouth and bitters. I've been making negronis for years so I know what I'm after. Everything I ordered was in good condition and the flavours were right.

Compared this with the shop in town and the online prices here were better for the same bottle. The order arrived in two days and the bottle was not damaged. I'd have liked a bit more detail about the ageing on the product page, but otherwise it was a good buy.

Tried a few sites before settling on this one for the cognac. The one I went for had the best description and the price was reasonable. Delivery took an extra day but nothing serious.

Never bought from them before so was a bit nervous about it, but the order was easy to place and the site made it clear what I was getting. The gin arrived quickly and tasted as good as the description said. Pleased enough to order again next month.

I needed a present for my brother who is really into single malts and knows his stuff. The bottle I chose was a proper one and he said it was a good pick. The only thing is the delivery window was a bit vague and I had to wait longer than I'd have liked.

I run a small cocktail night at my pub and needed a reliable supplier for mixers and spirits. The prices are good for bulk orders and the boxes come well organised. Everything arrived on the date promised, which is what counts for me.

For everyday bits like tonic and lemons this is decent value. The prices are a bit better than my local shop once you add it up. Delivery was on time, though I wish they gave a clearer tracking update.
