Regal Fish

Needed something quick for lunch that wasn't another sad sandwich. Ordered the cod, it came in good time and tasted fresh. Only thing is the portion was a bit smaller than I thought, but still good for the price.

Biggest surprise was how thick the tuna steaks were, nearly twice what I expected from the photo on the site. Ordered Tuesday lunchtime, they came the next morning in a proper cool box with ice packs still frozen solid. Cooked them straight from the fridge with lime and sesame and they were properly pink in the middle. Will order again, just on my phone at work so quick note.

Bought the 2kg bag of frozen cod portions for the freezer and it came in two days, which was quicker than I expected. Price per portion is well under what I pay at the fishmonger in town, and the fillets are a decent size with no bones I could find. Packed in a cool box with plenty of ice, nothing was thawed. ok so the prawns were the best bit, big and sweet and not rubbery at all. came in a little insulated bag with loads of ice and they were still cold when I unpacked them at about half six. ordering was dead easy on the app, took like two mins. will def be getting these again for the weekend

We needed a few decent fillets for my wife's birthday tea and I didn't have time to go to the market. Ordered on a Monday, arrived Wednesday, all in good nick. Plaice was lovely and the instructions on the pack were easy to follow.

My complaint is the wait, I ordered on a Tuesday and it did not arrive until the Friday, which was longer than the site suggested. I did ring to ask and the lady on the phone was polite but could only tell me it was on its way. It cooked well in the end.
