The detail that struck me most was the way each bottle was described, with food pairings and a short note on the producer. I found it easy to order for my book club and everything arrived carefully packed. The wines were just what I wanted for the evening.
Read moreThe bottles arrived wrapped in loads of paper which felt a bit much for two bottles of Garnacha. I placed the order on a Monday and it didn't leave until Thursday, which is longer than I expected for a wine site that says it ships quickly. Wine itself is lovely, just annoying I had to wait so long for it to show up.
Read moreOrdered the Rioja Reserva on Tuesday night and it turned up Thursday morning, bottles all in one piece. Tasted it last night and it's exactly what I wanted for the price, smooth and not too heavy. Checkout took about a minute on my phone, though I had to reset my password first. Will order again when the next batch of Friday deals comes round.
Read moreI needed a gift bottle for my daughter's engagement dinner at short notice, and a friend recommended this site. The choice was good and the ordering was straightforward enough, though the gift message box cut off what I typed. The bottle arrived on time, wrapped nicely. The price was a little higher than I'd like but I'd still use them again.
Compared a few places before choosing this one and they're clearly not the cheapest. Ordered a case of Malbec and it was good, the notes on the bottle matched what I tasted. Took a bit longer than I'd hoped to get a reply about a missing bottle, two days, but it was sorted. Probably pay a bit more here than elsewhere.
