First order was the ginger shots, mainly because I had a sore throat and wanted something sharp. They turned up in two days which was quicker than I expected, but the box had a couple of bottles sliding about so I hope they fix the padding. Taste is strong, a bit like eating fresh ginger root, so I'd sip it slowly rather than knock it back. Would get them again for the winter.

I would say this is a very pleasant kombucha, and I have been buying it for my husband since the spring. The bottles arrive well packed and the delivery has always been prompt. The customer service team answered my question about the best way to store it within a day, which I was grateful for. We both prefer the elderflower flavour.

The verdict is that it's worth a go if you're new to this kind of drink. I'd never tried kombucha before and the starter bottles were a sensible size to try a few flavours. Sign up was quick and the box came chilled with a little note. My only real surprise was how mild the first flavour was, but I've come round to it.
