What caught my attention first was the tin of kasuri methi, it smells incredible and makes a big difference to the finished dish. I've bought a couple of their kits and I know the flavour profile well, so I can tell when a blend is off. These are right on. The one small thing is the spice tins are slightly smaller than the photos suggested, which isn't a big deal but worth knowing. Shipping was prompt.

I needed something quick for a dinner party on the Saturday and a friend recommended this place. The garam masala and some naan bread were what I went for. Ordering was straightforward and it all arrived on time. Dinner went down a treat, so I'd order from them again.

Got her a gift box of sweets from here and it looked really cute. Ordering took about two minutes and it all arrived before the weekend. She loved it so yeah, no complaints at all.

I bought the big bag of toor dal and it works out much cheaper per kilo than the local halal shop. The lentils are clean with hardly any stones, which I didn't expect at this price. Delivery was free over a certain amount and arrived in a few days. Sensible value for a weekly staple.

I bought the chana dal from here after comparing a couple of other sites and the price was the lowest. The lentils cook evenly and hold their shape, which is what I wanted for dal. Delivery came in three working days and the packaging was fine. The only thing is the order confirmation email took ages to arrive, so I was checking my spam folder for a while. Otherwise decent and I'd order again.

Ordered the basmati and it took well over a week to show up, and the tracking said delivered before it actually was. When it did come the bag was a different brand to what I'd ordered, so I had to message them and wait days for a reply. Sorting the return was fiddly with the forms. Not what I expect from them and I'm not in a rush to order again.

My sister was coming over from Leicester for a few days and I wanted to cook her a proper biryani the way our mother used to. I found the whole spice blend on this site and ordered it with some saffron and kewra water. The kit arrived well before she did, which was a relief. The biryani turned out beautifully and she asked for the recipe. I'm glad I didn't have to go hunting round three shops for it.

Compared this with the Indian shop near me and the spices here are fresher and cheaper for the amount. The cardamom pods are plump and fragrant. Packaging kept everything airtight. Looking forward to trying more from their range.

I have been buying the 5kg bag of basmati from them for about six years now and it has never let me down. The grains stay separate and the smell when it's cooking is just right. Price has crept up a bit lately but not enough to make me look elsewhere.

Honestly the spice tins are so much nicer than I expected, the cardamom smells unreal when you open it. Ordered on Sunday and it was at mine by Wednesday, no complaints from me. Already planning my next order tbh.

I had a dinner party coming up and couldn't find tamarind anywhere near me. Found it on their site and it was sorted in a couple of days. Saved my tamarind chutney.

The mango chutney is the thing I come back for, it's sweet with a proper tang and goes with everything. I've been ordering from them since about 2015 and it's always been reliable. The jars sometimes arrive with a bit of label damage but the contents are always fine. Easy site to use.

Compared this against two other online Indian grocers before I placed the order and this was the dearest on the paprika and the kashmiri chilli. The quality is good, the colour is deep and the heat is mild as described. Delivery was quick and the goods were well boxed. The price difference is enough that I'll probably shop around again next time.

I bought a pack of frozen parathas to keep in the freezer for quick lunches. They're flaky when heated and the price per pack is very reasonable compared with what I'd pay locally. The order was packed in a cool box with plenty of ice packs and everything arrived frozen solid. Good value for a freezer stock and I'd stock up again.

I'm used to buying my spices from a market stall so I compared this against that. The cumin seeds are decent but a bit less aromatic than what I'm used to. Price is fair for online and delivery was quick. They're fine for everyday cooking but I'd still go to the stall for something special.
