Dobies

Compared them against a couple of the big supermarket delivery options before picking Dobies and it came out cheaper once I'd added everything up. The box of spices and sauces was exactly what the description said, and I like that I can see the price per unit on the page. Makes a weekly shop much easier to budget for, and I've already set up a repeat order.

I've been buying single origin beans for a few years now and Dobies beats my usual place on freshness. The roast date is printed clearly and the beans were still resting nicely at the right stage when they landed. A bit pricier than some, but the flavour is noticeably cleaner, so it balances out for me.

Tried a few other brands of granola before settling on the one from Dobies, and the honey and almond one is by far the best. Ordering took two minutes and it arrived well within the window. Lovely crunch and not too sweet.

Dobies is worth it for the coffee beans, they taste fresh and the bag was still warm-ish when it landed. Only thing is the price is a bit higher than I'd pay elsewhere. Still ordering again.

The chocolate protein powder is what I got and it mixes without lumps which is a nice change. Ordered on my phone in the car park and it was at my door the next morning. Solid.

I was after a proper afternoon tea selection for my sister's visit, as the local shop had nothing I'd trust. The order went through without fuss, though the delivery came a day later than the window they gave me, which was a little inconvenient. The cakes themselves were very nicely made and the tea was lovely. I'd order again but I would like the timings to be more reliable.

Compared three different hot sauce brands before picking the one from Dobies, mostly on heat level and ingredients. The bottle I got is the smoky chipotle one and it's properly balanced, not just hot for the sake of it. Ordering was simple and I'd happily get it again.

I was rather taken with the assortment of teas they sent over, particularly the Darjeeling, which was lovely and fragrant. The order was dealt with promptly and the box arrived in good order. I did find the ordering page a touch fiddly at first, but once I got the hang of it all was well. I shall certainly be ordering again.

I needed a gluten free baking mix for the family and Dobies had a decent range. The mix works well but the price is a bit higher than the supermarket version, so I only buy it when I'm making something special. Delivery was quick and the box was neat.

Checked a few other sites for organic flour and Dobies came out cheaper on the same weight, which was the deciding factor for me. The packaging was sturdy and nothing had leaked. The only small irritation was the checkout asking me to create an account twice, but it got there in the end.

Great value for the money, the bulk bags of rice and lentils work out far cheaper per kilo than the high street. The ordering process was quick and the box came well packed. Exactly what I needed for the house.

We needed a regular supplier for the freezer after our old butcher closed, and I've been ordering from Dobies for about eleven years now. Nothing has really changed in that time, the cuts are consistent and the packaging keeps everything frozen. Happy to keep going.

The oat milk cartons were the best bit, nothing leaked and they came in a box with no fuss. Ordered on the app in about a minute between meetings. Delivery was on time and the driver left it safe.

Got the mango chutney on a whim and now I put it on everything, eggs, cheese toasties, the lot. Arrived in a day and nothing was broken. Quick and easy, would get it again.

Used to pick up my olive oil from the local shop but Dobies is better quality for not much more. The bottle arrived intact and the oil tastes peppery in the way I like. Easy to reorder.

Solid beans, the Ethiopian one has proper floral notes and a clean finish. Roast date was clear on the bag which I like. Took a few days to arrive though, and the grind size I picked was slightly off for my moka pot.

Ordered from Dobies after looking at a few other places first and I wish I'd just gone with the cheapest one. The food arrived fine but the portions were smaller than I expected for what I paid, and when I rang about it the reply took three days. Probably won't bother again, there's better value elsewhere for this kind of thing.

We needed a decent cheese selection for a dinner party and I had been putting it off for weeks. The team were helpful when I rang with questions about storage, and the cheeses arrived in good condition with the right amount of ice packs. Everything was labelled clearly, which I appreciated, and my guests were impressed. I'd happily order from them again for the next occasion.

Ordered the cold brew kit on a whim and honestly it's the easiest thing I've made at home all year. Just add the grounds, leave it in the fridge overnight and it tastes way better than the stuff from the café. Arrived in a day and the instructions were clear enough even for me.

The biggest thing for me was the price per kilo on the bulk rice and lentils, far cheaper than what I was paying at the supermarket. I ordered a 5kg bag of each and they arrived well packed with nothing damaged. Checkout was quick and the delivery slot I wanted was available. Good value for a family of five.
