Beer Hunter

Good range and I know a lot about craft beer so I was happy with what I got. Checkout kept logging me out halfway through, which was a pain. Would still order again.

I needed a present for my son's fortieth and wanted something a little out of the ordinary. The selection they sent was thoughtfully chosen and he was thrilled with it. The packaging was neat and the whole thing arrived on time. I was very pleased with the service throughout.

Ordered the tasting box to try a few new breweries and it's a good way to sample without buying full bottles. The pack had a nice mix of styles. One of the bottles had a slightly dented label but the beer was fine. Delivery was a bit slow but nothing to complain about.

They're the one place I go for stouts and saisons now, and nothing else I've tried comes close on choice. Ordering is simple and it arrives when it says it will.

Best place I've found for proper craft beer in the UK, the range of styles is excellent for someone who knows their stouts and saisons. Staff are knowledgeable and the stock is always fresh. Prices are fair for what you get.

Compared with the online shop I usually use, this one has a far better choice of local breweries and the beers are noticeably fresher. I've been a customer for a few years now and the quality has stayed consistent. Delivery is reliable and the team answer emails quickly when I've had a question about an order.

Compared with the big names I've bought from before, this is a step up in choice and freshness. I know my beer, and the selection here shows real knowledge. The ordering process is clear and the delivery was prompt. Happy to keep using them.

I needed beer for a wedding in a field and had to get it sorted quickly. I compared a few suppliers and this was the one with the widest choice in one place. The checkout was a bit clunky and I had to retype my address, which annoyed me. Stock arrived fine and the guests were happy.

Got the mixed craft pack for a night in with my flatmates. Loads of variety, the IPAs were lush and the sour one was a bit of a surprise. Arrived quick and nothing got smashed. Dead easy to order too.

Compared with the big supermarket chains, this is a far better choice for proper real ales, and the beers are kept properly so they taste as they should. I've been ordering from them for about six years now, usually for my husband's birthday and at Christmas. The staff reply quickly when I've had a query about a delivery window.

The first thing that struck me was the sheer breadth of the list, with a good number of small Yorkshire and Welsh breweries I'd never heard of before. I ordered a mixed selection for my husband's birthday and he was very pleased with it. My only small reservation is that one of the bottles arrived with a label slightly scuffed, though the beer itself was perfectly fine. I'd happily order again.

Good beer, fair price, and the tasting notes actually helped me pick. Took a few extra days to get here though, which is fine but I'd have liked a heads up. Would order again.

We were hosting a small tasting evening and wanted a mix of beers nobody had tried before. I compared a few places first, including a couple of the bigger online shops, and this one had the widest range of small-batch stuff. Ordering was simple but the checkout kept asking me to sign in twice. Two of the bottles arrived a bit warmer than I'd like but the tasting still went down well.

Compared with the supermarket range I used to buy, this is a huge step up in flavour and the beers are far more interesting. The selection is well chosen and the descriptions helped me pick something I'd never have tried otherwise. Delivery was prompt and the bottles were cold on arrival. I've now told my book club about them.

Got the mixed case for our allotment group's end of season get together, after comparing a few options online. This one had the best range of local breweries and the descriptions were useful. Everything arrived in good nick and the beers went down a treat. Nothing to fault really.

Range is great and there's loads of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere. Pricier than the big supermarkets though, so I'd only order for something special. Sent it to my mate on the way to the pub.

I needed a gift for my brother-in-law who is particular about his beer and I didn't want to get it wrong. The gift set they sent was well put together and the note inside was a nice touch. Everything came nicely wrapped and on time for the weekend. He was delighted, which is the main thing.
