B Bakery

Compared with the big supermarket bakery counter, these loaves are a fair bit more per slice. The bread is good and lasts a few days longer, but you do pay for it. Delivery was fine, arrived on the day with a note from the driver. Fair enough for a treat, less so for every day.

Needed something cheap and filling to feed a team of six for the day. The focaccia slabs did the job and cost less than the sandwich shop round the corner. Delivery arrived on the dot. Good value for what you get.

First time ordering from them and the sourdough was lovely, really good crust and it kept well for three days. The only thing was the delivery slot said morning but the van turned up nearly two hours after the window had opened, so I was a bit annoyed. The driver was polite about it though, and the bread itself was worth the wait. Might try the brioche next time.

Not what I expected at all, I'd been told the cakes were the thing to try. First order arrived two days after the date they gave me, and the sponge was dry by the time I got round to it. Sorry, won't be trying again.

Needed a cake for my mate's birthday at short notice and this was the only place doing next day slots. Ordered the chocolate one on the app, took about two minutes. Came in a box that was a bit squashed on one side, but it still looked good on the table. Nice one.

Grabbed the seeded sourdough on Saturday and it was still warm when I got it home, honestly the best bit of my week. Crust is proper crunchy and the inside is soft and chewy. Only reason it's not a full five is the bag it came in tore a bit on the way, but the bread was fine. Will be back for another one this weekend.

Ordered a box of cinnamon buns for the office and they were gone in ten minutes. Icing was thick and sweet without being sickly. Came on time and the box was still warm. First time ordering and I'll definitely be back.

Been getting the wholemeal from them for about ten years now and it hasn't changed. Same crust, same weight, same reliable loaf every week. Ordering online is simple enough and the deliveries have always turned up when they said. Keep it up.

Compared to the supermarket sliced stuff, this is a different world, the bread actually tastes of bread. Ordering on my phone while queuing for the bus was quick. Only small gripe is the minimum order is a bit high for just me, so I end up freezing half.

Picked up a bag of plain bagels on the way to the flat and they were still soft the next morning, which is rare. Cheap enough to feed the four of us breakfast for a week, and I'd happily go back for them.
