Needed something gentle

I needed something gentle to help me eat better after my cholesterol came back high, and the plans suit that well. I've been using it for a long while now and the meals are straightforward. The renewal price went up a bit recently but I've stayed on. The support staff have always been patient with my questions.

Been with them for years

I've been on the monthly meal plan with them since 2019 and I still use it most weeks. The one that got me was the switch to the new app last spring, it took a fortnight before my saved favourites came back and the support emails took about four days to get a reply. Once it was sorted the plans are as good as ever, just a shame about the wobble.

Needed something after my gp visit

My GP suggested I look at more structured eating after my blood sugar readings came back high, so I needed something I could follow without guessing. The plans are built around low glycaemic meals and the portions are sensible. My only gripe is the cost of the premium tier, which is more than I'd like. The content has been good enough that I've stuck with it for months now.

Needed a plan after surgery

I needed a plan to follow after my hip replacement, as my mobility meant I couldn't get to the shops often. The meal plans were easy to set up and the delivery of the shopping list ingredients was reliable. The portions are well judged and the recipes are simple enough for someone who doesn't cook much. I found it a real help during recovery.

Bought the training bundle

I bought the training bundle with the meal plan and it's been good so far. The nutrition targets adjust when I change my training load, which I didn't expect and like a lot. Support replied quickly to a question on carb timing. Solid.

Cheaper than the gym coach

Compared with paying a personal trainer for nutrition advice, this came out at a fraction of the cost and did most of what I needed. The plan itself is decent and the grocery list feature saves time on the weekly shop. It doesn't adapt much if you miss a day though, so you end up tweaking things by hand. For the money it's a sensible option.

Bought the four week plan

I bought the four week plan and used it alongside my usual training schedule. The macro breakdowns are clear and the recipe swaps are actually useful, I've kept a couple of them. The app syncs fine with my watch. Support answered a question about protein targets within a day. Would happily use it again when I next start a cut.

App is quick and the plan works

Signed up on my phone during lunch and was sorted in about two minutes. The meal plan loads fast and the grocery list actually follows it, which is what I wanted. Tapping to swap a meal is easy. Been on it a few weeks and my food bill has dropped.

Better than the free plans I tried before

Compared with the free meal planning sites I used before, this feels much more thought through. The recipes use ingredients I actually have in the cupboard and the portions aren't ridiculous. I've been a member for over a year and the app has got steadier with each update. Only reason it's not five is the notifications can be a bit pushy.

nutrition content is spot on

Worked as a dietitian for over twenty years so I checked the plans properly before paying. The portion sizes and macros are sensible, though I'd like more detail on the fibre figures and the sodium breakdown is a bit vague. The meal swaps are handy but the recipes sometimes assume you've got ingredients most people don't keep in. Fair enough for the money but not cheap.

Actually really good

ok so the thing i noticed first was how easy the meal planner is to use, just tap and it swaps stuff. the recipes are quick, most are under 20 mins. i've lost a bit of weight without feeling starved. yeah no complaints, will keep using it.

Better value than the dietitian

Compared with paying for a dietitian session every few weeks, this is a fraction of the price for ongoing plans. The meal ideas are varied and the shopping lists save me money. Good value.

Exactly what I was after

The verdict is simple: this is a well put together programme that does what it sets out to do. I was after a structured plan that didn't require me to shop at specialist stores, and the meals use ordinary supermarket ingredients. The instructions are clear and the support team were helpful when I had a question about portions. I'd be happy to recommend it to friends who are starting out.

Great first month

The verdict is that this is a good place to start if you've never followed a meal plan before. I signed up for the basic tier and the guidance on building meals was easy to grasp. The app tells you what to eat without making you feel judged. Signing up took a few minutes and the welcome emails were useful. I've already recommended it to a mate who's been putting off getting started.

sorted my weekly food budget

I needed something to stop me overspending on takeaways and food waste, so the grocery list and meal plan were the main draw. It's got me shopping more sensibly and the recipes use up what I already have in. The subscription price is a bit on the high side next to free planners. Still worth it for me.

Signed up on the train

Signed up on the app during my commute and was set up in about five minutes. The meal plan loaded straight away and I've been following it since. Easy to log food and the barcode scanner works well.

Knows its stuff but expensive

Having worked in dietetics for years I was curious how the plans would stack up, and the nutritional content is sound. The advice on portion sizes matches what I'd tell a patient. The premium tier is quite steep for what you get though, and I'd want more customisation for the price.

lots of protein options

I know my macros inside out so I was looking for the detail, and the protein breakdowns are spot on. Bit of a niggle that the search could be quicker.

Way quicker than the free sites

Much quicker to set up than the free meal planners I was using before, took me maybe three minutes on my phone. Plan loads fine, haven't had any problems yet. Would sign up again.

Still the best diet plan I've paid for

Been using this for about three years now and I'd still pick it over anything else. The weekly plans keep changing enough that I don't get bored, and the shopping list saves me a good hour on a Sunday. Price is fair for what you get. Keep it up.
