Sorted my food for the year

Needed a proper plan after a hospital check up flagged my cholesterol, and the dietitian-led programme gave me clear targets without making me feel judged. The meal suggestions are realistic for someone who works long shifts and I've actually stuck to it. Sign up was quick and the check ins are useful.

Been with them for years

I've been a customer for about six years now and the plans have got better over time. The recipes have been refreshed and the app is far easier to use than it was. The price has crept up a little but I still think it's good value for what you get.

The weekly food boxes

I bought the weekly food boxes after looking into a few options, and I know my way around the diet space well enough to say these are fair. The veg is fresh and the protein portions are accurate for the plan. The recipe cards could be clearer about storage, and one week a substitution arrived that I wasn't told about in advance.

Cheaper than my gym

Compared to the gym I was paying for, this is a lot cheaper and I don't feel like I have to be there at a set time. The recipes are fine but a few of them take longer than the card says, so I've started giving myself extra time. Nothing major, just a bit annoying when I'm hungry.

app kept reminding me to eat

Honestly the best bit was the reminders that pop up on my phone around lunchtime, because I'd forget to eat properly otherwise. Signed up on my phone in like five mins, no faff. Plan's been decent so far, I'm on the basic one and haven't needed more.

Tried a few before settling on this

Tried a couple of other diet services before this one, and the difference is in the detail of the plan. I bought the six month membership to get the dietitian check ins and the price per check in is reasonable. The meal swaps are easy to make in the app and the portions have been right every time I've weighed them. I'd happily stick with it.

A sensible and considerate service

I signed up for the plan following a referral from my GP, and I found the booking process perfectly clear, which I appreciated. The meal planning is sensible and the portions suit someone of my age who doesn't need huge quantities. There was a short wait for my first dietitian appointment, though the staff were courteous when I rang.

better than the other app I tried

Way better than the calorie counting app I was using before, which just made me log everything and felt like homework. This one tells you what to eat and you just follow it. Only niggle is the notifications, they come through a bit too often but I've turned most of them off.

the price doesn't match what's on offer

The first thing I noticed was how much the monthly plan cost compared to the others I looked at, which were a fair bit cheaper for similar meals. The food itself was fine and the plan was easy enough to follow. I also had a delay with the first delivery of two days, which wasn't great when I'd planned my week around it.

The grocery list feature

The detail I liked most was the grocery list that updates when you change a meal, which saved me from buying loads of stuff I'd never use. I'm new to this so I was nervous, but the guidance on the app made it easy to start. I've used it for a month now and the shopping is so much quicker.

would pick it again

This is the one I'd pick again if I had to choose. I compared it with two other diet programmes first, and the price here is the lowest for what you get, with a proper dietitian on hand. Booking the first consultation was easy and the advice has been practical.

good value for what you get

The biggest thing for me was that the plan costs less per month than the dietitian clinic I was looking at, and it covers the same ground. I signed up through the site in one go and the booking was easy enough. Support emails took a day or so to come back, which was a bit slow when I had a question about swapping a meal, but the answer was sensible. Would stick with it.

Bought the 12 week plan and it's been great

Bought the 12 week plan on the site after a mate recommended it, and the sign up took about ten minutes. The shopping list it generates saves me loads of time on a Sunday and the recipes are actually quick enough for a Tuesday after work. Compared to paying for a personal trainer this is a fraction of the price and it's honestly been worth every penny.

Compared to a personal trainer it's a steal

Compared with paying a personal trainer and a dietitian separately, this bundles both for much less, and the plans are based on proper nutrition science. The app's food log is quick to use once you've set it up, and the feedback on my progress is useful without being preachy. The customer support replied within a day when I had a question about a supplement, which was better than I expected.

Decent but needs a bit of patience

It's a useful service if you already know roughly what you're aiming for with your eating, and the meal plans are sensible rather than faddy. The app took a while to sync my weight entries and I had to re-enter a couple of days before it behaved. The dietitian chat is helpful when you can get a slot, though you'll want to book early.

First time, needed a plan

I needed something after my GP said my cholesterol was up at my last check and asked me to do something about it. I'd never done a diet plan before so I was nervous about it. The sign up asked a few questions about my health and then gave me a plan with clear targets. The dietitian side of it made me feel less judged than I expected, and I've stuck with it for a couple of months now.

Needed help getting back on track

I signed up after a rough year when my weight crept up and I wanted a plan that didn't feel like punishment. The meal ideas are simple and the daily targets are reasonable. It's a bit fiddly to log the odd home-cooked meal but otherwise it's been good.

Better value than the meal kits I tried

Compared to the big meal kit brands I'd been using, this works out cheaper per portion and the food is just as good. The plan lets me choose my number of meals and I've not been stuck with stuff I don't like. Delivery was on time every week so far.

my first month with the meal boxes

I bought the starter meal boxes for my first month and was surprised how fresh everything arrived. The portions are sized properly and the instructions on the cards were clear enough that I didn't need to Google anything. The only thing I'd change is the bag of herbs, which came slightly wilted, but the rest was lovely.

Needed something for uni

Needed something to stop me living off toast and crisps during exams. Signed up for a month and the plans are easy to follow on a budget. Yeah, it's good.
