The 12 week programme was worth it

I bought the 12 week programme with the add on food guide, which came to a fair bit less than booking a few sessions with a private dietitian. The guide is printed and has a shopping list per week, which I didn't expect and have used every single week. Delivery of the guide was quick and the plan was emailed the same day, so nothing to complain about for the money.

Good but the first plan felt generic

I'd looked at three other nutrition programmes before picking this one, mainly because two of them were quite expensive for what they included. This one was fair on price and the advice was sensible. My first plan felt a bit generic though, and it took a message to get the vegetarian options adjusted, which was sorted within a day. Otherwise it's been helpful and I'll keep using it.

first month on the starter plan

I bought the starter plan with the calorie tracker in the spring, my first time paying for anything like this. The sign up form asked more questions than I expected but it was clear what each one was for. The weekly plan was easy to follow, and when I got stuck on a Thursday the support reply came back within a day. Definitely sticking with it.

Been with them for years

My plan is the same one I started with back in 2019, and the team has kept it going through a couple of changes to the site. The updates are sensible and the printable versions still work for me. I don't use the app much but the email reminders keep me on track and the monthly check in is always useful.

Why i first signed up and why i stayed

I first signed up because my doctor flagged my blood sugar and I needed something structured rather than guessing. I've been on it for a good few years now, through a couple of changes in my medication and a move house. Each time I've had a question the adviser has got back to me properly, usually within a day or so. I'd go back to it again if I needed to.

Found it more sensible than the alternatives

Compared with the commercial diet clubs my sister recommended, this seemed far more sensible to me. I did not need to buy any special products, which I appreciated. The telephone adviser I spoke to was patient and did not try to sell me anything else, and the written guide arrived within a few days. I would happily go back to it.

Needed help after the baby

I needed something to help me eat properly again after having my second baby and feeling wiped out all the time. I'd been putting it off for ages because I had no idea where to start. Signing up was easy enough and the first call with the dietitian sorted out a simple plan I could actually follow with a toddler running around. It's the first thing in months that has felt manageable.

Does the job for the price

Verdict is it does the job for the price, and I'd probably use it again. Signing up was quick and the plan came through straight away. The app could do with a dark mode but that's a small thing.

cheaper than i expected for what you get

Signed up for the basic plan with the recipe pack because my husband's cholesterol came back high. The price was lower than the dietitian we'd been quoted, and the recipes are cheap to make with things we already buy. Sign up took about ten minutes and the first week's plan arrived the same afternoon. Good value and it's stuck.

a bit pricier than the supermarket route

Compared with just buying a couple of diet books and winging it, this costs noticeably more up front. It's worth it if you want someone checking your plan rather than guessing. The renewal price went up a little after the first term, which I'd have liked to know earlier. Still, I'm happy enough with the results.

The meal planner is actually nice

The meal planner is the bit I liked most, it's clean and you can drag things around without it crashing. Didn't have to wait for anything to arrive, just logged in and got going. Would use again.

needed something quick for my weight

Needed something to help me sort my eating out before a fitness test for work. Signing up took a while because it kept asking for the same info twice, and the first plan felt a bit basic. Once I got going it was fine though.

the coaching notes are properly evidence based

The coaching notes are properly evidence based, which is more than I can say for most of the stuff I've read. I'm a nutrition grad so I was sceptical, but they cite the studies and the macro targets make sense for someone training five days a week. Plan adjusts when I log a bad week instead of making me feel rubbish about it.

bought the budget meal plan

Bought the budget meal plan with the shopping list add on and it's cut my food bill down nicely. The list groups things by aisle which saves me wandering round the shop. The plan arrived by email the same afternoon and the printable version is handy. For the price it's hard to fault.

Better than the diet app i was on

Better than the diet app I was using before, which kept pushing me to upgrade every other week. This just gives you the plan and leaves you alone. Quick sign up, quick plan, done.

Still the best thing i've paid for

Been a customer for going on five years now and it's still the best money I spend on my health. The plans have kept pace with my blood pressure changing and my doctor is happy with how I'm doing. Renewing is painless and the emails remind you before the card gets charged, which I appreciate.

Good value for the money

This is good value and I'd buy it again without thinking twice. I paid for the three month plan and it worked out cheaper per month than the gym I stopped going to. The advice is practical and the portions make sense, nothing faddy. I've lost a bit of weight and my cholesterol is down at my last check.

got the starter bundle and it's been good

Got the starter bundle with the food tracker and the protein guide. The tracker is basic but it does the job, and I'm using it every day now. The bundle arrived in two days which was faster than I expected, and the instructions were clear enough I didn't need to message anyone.

Worth it if you know what you want

Honestly this is one of the better online nutrition services I've used. I'd been doing my own macros for years and wanted someone to check my numbers without it turning into a sales pitch. The check ins are quick, the feedback on my logs is specific, and nothing has been pushed on me. Brilliant for the money.

Much better than the last lot i tried

Compared with the app based diet plans I used before, this feels like it was written by an actual person who has read the research. I've been using it on and off for about four years now. The renewal was simple and the advice has changed sensibly as my health has changed, which is what I wanted.
