app kept logging me out

Honestly the meal plans are decent and the recipes are quick, but the app kept logging me out every time I switched to my messages so I had to keep typing my password in again. Still using it though, the weekly plan saves me faffing about on a Sunday.

Needed something quick

I needed something easy to follow as I'm in my first trimester and cooking is a faff. Set up was quick and the recipes are simple. Loving it so far.

Sign up was a bit annoying

The meal plans are good but signing up took ages because it kept asking me to verify my email twice. Once I was in it was fine and the recipes are easy. Just a bit frustrating at the start.

wish i'd known about it years ago

My daughter is expecting and I wanted to help her with food ideas, so I signed up for the plans and passed them on to her. Having a clear weekly structure has made it so much easier for her to stick to healthy meals, and I've learned a few things myself. The shopping lists are very handy and the whole thing is well laid out. She says it's been a real help through the early months.

the trimester plans

I bought the full trimester plan bundle when I was in my second trimester. The breakdown by week is clear and the nutrient notes made sense to me as someone who has read a fair bit about nutrition. The batch recipes meant I could plan ahead on busy days. Solid resource.

Far better than the leaflets

Compared to the leaflets from the midwife clinic this is much more useful, with real recipes and proper portion guidance rather than just a list of foods to avoid. I'd been bookmarking random blog posts before and they were all over the place. Set up took a few minutes and the plan was ready straight away. It covers my iron and folate needs in a way I could actually follow day to day. Really happy I switched.

the pregnancy meal plan was spot on

I bought the twelve week pregnancy meal plan when I found out I was expecting and it was exactly what I needed. The plans are easy to follow and the shopping lists saved me loads of time at the supermarket. I was nervous about getting enough iron and protein and the recipes covered both without making everything taste like cardboard. Really glad I went for it.

tried a few before settling on this

I started with a free pregnancy diet guide, then tried a paid cookbook, and eventually bought the meal plan bundle here. The plan itself is well organised and the recipes are doable on a weeknight, which is what I needed. My only real niggle is that the recipes assume you have quite a few specialist ingredients on hand, so I had to make a couple of trips to find things like tahini and chia seeds. Still, it's a good resource.

The shopping list is brilliant

The shopping list thing is the best bit, it groups everything by aisle so I'm not wandering round Tesco for ages. Plans are easy to follow and I'm not stressing about eating right. Would've liked a few more vegan options but otherwise really useful.

Compared it to a nutritionist and it held up

I'd been paying a registered dietitian for a few sessions, and compared to that this is obviously far cheaper, though it's not personalised the way a one to one consult is. The meal plans cover the basics well for a pregnancy diet, with sensible portion notes and iron sources flagged. The only real gap for me was that the plan didn't account for my gestational diabetes, so I had to adjust things myself. Good value for general guidance though.

Quick and useful

Really useful and easy to follow, I bought the plan on my lunch break and had the shopping list printed in ten minutes. Would buy again, the meals are simple and I can actually use them.

Better than the free antenatal leaflets

Compared to the free NHS leaflets on pregnancy nutrition, this was way more practical, with actual meal ideas and a clear breakdown of what to eat each trimester. I'd been using a random app before and it was mostly calorie counting which made me anxious. Signing up took about five minutes and I got the first plan the same day. Only thing I'd change is the recipe search, it's a bit clunky on my phone.

Good value for the money

I wanted something practical that wouldn't cost a fortune, and the shopping lists are the bit I use most. The plans are easy to follow, and I like that the portions are set out so I'm not guessing. Nothing extra to pay for once you've signed up.

Decent but not cheap

Honestly it's good, the meal plans are well laid out and the recipes are easy enough. I compared it with a couple of other pregnancy nutrition sites and some were cheaper for similar content. Still, I liked the trimester split and the food safety notes. Would stick with it for the second trimester.

Needed something for morning sickness

I was being sick every morning and couldn't face anything, so I needed ideas that were easy to make. The bland snack suggestions in the plan actually worked for me. Signing up was dead quick and it's just nice to have something sorted.

Best of the ones i looked at

I tried a few different pregnancy nutrition resources before settling on this one, and it was the clearest and easiest to use. The trimester plans are sensible and the shopping lists are a real time saver. Great value for what you get.

Wanted something simple and got it

I looked at a few pregnancy nutrition sites and a couple of cookbooks before choosing this. It is the easiest to use, with the weekly plans and shopping lists all in one place. The recipes are sensible and nothing too fancy. Good value for what you get.

Far more helpful than the leaflets

Compared with the printed booklet from my antenatal clinic, I found this considerably more useful, as the meals are arranged by week and the portion guidance is clear. I did find the navigation a little fiddly to begin with, but once I'd settled in it was perfectly easy to follow. My husband has also started using the shopping lists, which I think says a lot. I have recommended it to two friends who are expecting.

Needed help with my diet during pregnancy

I needed a clearer idea of what to eat once my midwife flagged my iron was low. I compared a few options, including a free app and a book, and this one felt the most practical for everyday meals. The price is reasonable but not the cheapest. Delivery of the plans was instant, which I liked.
