Would not have picked it without a friend

Compared with the group sessions at my local leisure centre, this was a more sensible way for me to tackle my cholesterol, and I've come to find the coaches quite considerate. Initial questionnaire was thorough, perhaps a touch lengthy, but I appreciated that it was taken seriously. Recipes are plain, healthy and do not require any unusual ingredients, which suits me well.

Would sign up again in a heartbeat

Honestly one of the better decisions I've made this year. I'd never done anything like this before and was worried it would be preachy or overly complicated. It wasn't. The onboarding questions took a bit of time but they made the plan feel like it was for me. Week two I was already sorted with breakfasts and lunches without thinking about it. Good stuff.

first time doing a plan like this

The first thing I noticed was how quickly the plan was ready after I paid, it was there the next morning with a shopping list already sorted by aisle. I'd never done anything like this before and was expecting it to be a faff but the app walks you through the first few days. Coach replied to a question within a few hours. Happy with it so far.

Why i stuck with it this long

I needed a way to get my blood sugar down after my diagnosis and I've been with them a long time now. The coaches are patient, the plans fit around my job and the app is easy enough to use one handed while I'm on the go. Messages get a reply most days.

The recipes are actually nice

Didn't expect the recipes to be this good, they're not sad salads at all. Quick to make after uni and the shopping list is handy. Took a while for my first plan to come through though, like a day, but it was fine after that.

The app is the bit i use most

I bought the twelve week programme and have used the app every single day. The food diary and the reminders keep me on track, and when I had a question about portion sizes the coach got back to me the same afternoon. Price is a bit higher than I'd like once you add the extras, and the first login needed a password reset, but I've stuck with it.

Signed up after looking at a few

Had a look at a few meal plan sites before picking this one and the thing that got me was the sign up took about five minutes, no endless questions about my weight history. The first week's plan was already waiting in the app when I logged in the next morning, which I didn't expect at all. Been using it for a month now and still going.

Does the job

Used the same approach for my gym routine and found the nutrition side here useful. Recipes are simple, plenty of options and the calorie numbers are about right. Cancelling took a couple of emails though, which was a bit of a pain.

needed something i could actually stick to

I needed something I could actually stick to after my GP mentioned my blood pressure, and I'd tried a couple of other options that were either too strict or too expensive. This one fits my shifts and doesn't make me feel guilty for having a takeaway now and then. Easy to log on the phone.

sorted my week no bother

The plan is ready the morning after you sign up and it actually works with my kids' tea times. I was going to pay for a box scheme but this came to the same and I get to choose what I cook. Only been a fortnight but it's already a habit.

the meal plans are well thought through

I've been a dietitian for years so I was sceptical, but I signed up to see how the plans were built. Why I needed it was simple, I wanted something my clients could follow without a lot of prep. The macros are sensible, the swaps are useful and the coaching notes are clear. I've recommended it to a couple of patients now.

Good but the app crashed on me

Bit of a faff getting logged in on my phone, the app crashed twice when I tried to log a meal. Once it was working I liked the plan, the portions are sensible and the reminders are not annoying. Support replied quickly when I messaged them about the crash.

Why i went back to it after my op

I needed help getting my weight and my sugar sorted after my hip op and the mobility got harder. I've been a member a good while now. The coach checks in every fortnight and the meal ideas suit what I can manage in the kitchen. My daughter set the app up for me and it's been straightforward since.

the starter pack was worth it

I bought the starter pack to start my first proper plan and it came with a clear guide. It took about ten minutes to get going and the first week's food list was straightforward. Good value for a first attempt, I wasn't sure at first.

cheaper than the one i was using before

Compared with the meal kit subscription I'd been paying for, this works out cheaper and I can plan around what's already in the fridge. I'm new to it so I can't say much about the long run, but the first fortnight has been good. The coach answered my question about gluten within the day. Only thing is you have to set up a few things before the plan feels right, which takes a bit of patience.

Slower than the other app

Used a different app for a while and this one felt slower to get going. The sign up asked loads of questions and I had to wait a few days for a coach to reply to my first message. Not the end of the world but I was expecting quicker.

decent but pricier than the rest

I had a look at three other programmes before picking this one. The plan itself is solid and the recipes are easy enough to follow. My issue is the cost, it's a fair bit more than the others I compared, and the upgrade to add the coaching chat felt like an extra I had to be talked into. Would be a lot more on board at a lower monthly figure.

Better than the leaflet plans i tried before

Compared to the old slimming club I went to years back, this is a lot less fuss, there's no weigh in queue on a Tuesday night and the support is on the app. I've been a member for well over a year now. Coaches reply within a day usually and the recipes are sensible, not the sad salad sort.
