needed to lose weight before a wedding

I had a wedding coming up in a few months and needed to shift some weight without starving myself. Got set up with a plan pretty quickly and the coach was supportive without being preachy. Happy with how it's going so far.

Needed help with my coeliac diagnosis

After my coeliac diagnosis I needed a proper way to plan gluten free meals without guessing, and the dietitian-led programme gave me exactly that. The ingredient lists are clear and the swaps are sensible, and the advice on cross contamination in the kitchen was really useful. Ordering took a few minutes and the start date was flexible, which helped a lot.

Not what I expected for the money

I've been on plenty of diet programmes over the years so I know what good looks like, and this one felt thin. Signing up was painless enough but the plans repeat after a few weeks and the dietitian replies took nearly four days when I had a question about my medication timing. For what they charge I'd expect more depth, and I'd have expected a faster answer on something that actually mattered to my health.

The coach actually messages back

honestly the thing that got me was that my coach replies within a few hours, even at night. signed up after a mate recommended it. the plan is pretty easy to stick to and i've dropped about a stone so far, no complaints.

The handbook is very clear

The printed handbook that came with the programme is clearly laid out, with large print that I find easy to read. I was particularly pleased by the section on portion sizes. The advice is sensible and not at all faddish.

Signed up on a whim

Really pleased I gave it a go, I'd never used a meal plan before so wasn't sure what to expect. Signing up took about ten minutes and the first week's plan was waiting for me. The shopping list is handy too, saves me standing in Tesco trying to remember everything.

The recipes are actually quick

the cooking times on the recipes are spot on, which is what sold it for me. most of them are under twenty minutes so i'm not stuck in the kitchen after work. signing up was dead easy too.

The handbook that came with it

I bought the programme after my coeliac diagnosis and the printed handbook was the first thing I looked at. Large print, clear sections, and the gluten free shopping list is brilliant. The handbook arrived in about four days, which was fine. Everything I needed was in one place so I didn't have to guess what to eat.

Started it after a rough year

needed to get my eating sorted after a rough year and a few too many takeaways so i signed up. the plan itself is decent and the recipes are simple enough to cook on a weeknight. the support messages were a bit slow to come through for the first couple of weeks, which was annoying when i had questions, but it's sorted now and i'm sticking with it.

really good, no faff

Honestly really good, it's easy to use and the app works well on my phone. The meal ideas are actually nice, not just boiled chicken and broccoli. Would definitely use it again when I need to get back on track.

Really easy to use

Honestly it's easy to use, signed up on my phone in like five minutes and the app just works. Got the meal plan and the recipes are quick, I made the chicken one on a Tuesday after work and it took about twenty five minutes. Didn't have to think about much which is the whole point for me. Would use again.

better than the leaflet route

I had been using a paper diet plan from my GP surgery for about a year before I tried this, and I have to say the online version is far easier to follow. The meal suggestions actually take into account what I can and can't eat, which the leaflet never did. The guidance has been clear and sensible throughout, and I have found it genuinely helpful for keeping my blood sugar where my doctor wants it.

The meal planner tool

Bought the premium planner add on after using the free version for a few months. It handles my weekly shop well and the swap feature is handy when I don't fancy what's on. Only thing is the mobile version is a bit clunky compared to the laptop one, so I mostly plan on my desktop.

A sensible alternative to the slimming clubs

I'd previously been going to a local slimming group, and I find the online version considerably more convenient, particularly with my work hours. The menus are not overly rigid and I've been able to adapt them for my family without much trouble. The only thing I'd mention is that the delivery of the printed guide was a little slow.

The monthly consultation

I booked the monthly consultation with the dietitian as I have diabetes and wanted proper guidance. The appointment was held on time and the advice was thorough and kind. I found it very reassuring.

Way better than the other app

tried a calorie counting app first and it was just so tedious logging everything. this one gives you actual meal plans so you don't have to think. way easier to stick with for me, the recipes are quick.

tried three others before this

I'd tried two other meal plan services and a nutrition app before I settled on this, mostly because the others felt like they were pushing supplements. This one focuses on the food itself, which is what I wanted. The menus are varied enough that I don't get bored by week three, and the weekly summary email is a nice touch for keeping track of progress.

Third year on the meal plan

Been on the monthly meal plan for three years now. Sign up was simple and the plan has kept me on track with my weight since my knee op. Support team has always been quick when I have a question.

similar to the apps but pricier

Compared to the free nutrition apps I'd been using, this costs quite a lot more for what feels like similar advice. The meal suggestions are decent and the signup was simple enough. I'm going to keep it for now but I'm not sure I'd stay on past the trial period.

Needed something for my cholesterol

My doctor suggested I look at changing my diet after my cholesterol came back high, and I'd been putting it off for ages. The programme has a clear structure and I like that it explains why each change matters. The only niggle is that the recipe book took a while to arrive after I joined, though once it did it's been useful.
