Switched from a rival and glad I did

I switched over from another app that felt too rigid, and this one lets me adjust my targets without much faff. The first week was a bit fiddly getting the account linked to my fitness tracker, but once that was sorted it's been smooth. Cost is a little higher than the rival I left, though I do feel the coaching is better and I'm sticking with it for now.

Good value for what you get

Worth every penny for the money, I pay less than I would for a personal trainer and get a proper plan with daily check ins. Booked in quickly, the monthly price is clear from the start and there's no faff with extras. Stuck with it for months now and the results speak for themselves, so I'd say it's a bargain for the quality on offer.

Does the job for me

Best part is that it's easy enough to fit around work and family life. The meal ideas are simple and the portions are sensible. Price is fair for what you get and I've had no trouble with the app.

Better than the old gym plan

Compared with the gym membership I was paying for, this has been a much better use of money because I'm actually using the plan. I've been on it a good while now. The check ins keep me honest and the progress tracking is clear enough that I can see what's working.

First month and already hooked

I signed up for the starter plan and the first thing I noticed was how simple the setup was, you answer a few questions and it builds your plan. Loved how the meal suggestions actually fit with what's in my cupboard. Really pleased I gave it a go after putting it off for ages.

the plan I actually stuck to

Bought the monthly plan after a friend recommended it and it's been good so far. The meal ideas are easy to follow and the app is quick to log things in. Just started but already feeling more on top of things, so yeah, pleased.

did the job but took a while

Needed something to keep my weight in check after my GP mentioned my blood pressure. Looked at a few other programmes first and this one felt the most doable for me, the check ins are useful, though the first week was a bit slow to get going.

the meal planner is spot on

I purchased the meal planning add on in the spring, and it has made my weekly shop far more sensible. The recipes are straightforward and my husband, who is rather fussy, has taken to most of them. Delivery of the shopping list reminders has been punctual and the instructions are plain enough for anyone to follow.

Sorted my food for the week

Best thing is the meal planner, it lays out the whole week so I'm not standing in the shop wondering what to buy. Took me a couple of days to get into it but it's been brilliant since. Easy to fit around uni and the part time job. Cheers.

Knew what I was getting into

I'd been using structured nutrition plans for years so I knew roughly what to expect. Needed something with proper macro tracking and this covers it well enough. Signing up and getting started was quick, and the only slight gripe is the food database misses a few supermarket own brand items.

Got the starter plan

I bought the starter plan after seeing it recommended in a group chat, not really knowing what it would be like. The questions at the start took a bit longer than I thought, and the first few days the reminders felt a bit much. After that I got used to it and the plan has been sensible, though I think the meal suggestions are a bit repetitive after a few weeks. It does what I need for now.

Better than the big app

Compared with the big calorie counting app I used before, this feels far less like a chore. I've been a member for a couple of years now. The support team sometimes takes a day or two to reply to messages, but the plan itself has kept me on track.

the welcome email was confusing

The first thing I noticed was that the welcome email sent me to a page I couldn't find, and it took me three attempts to log in properly. Once I was in it was alright but I did find the setup a little fiddly for someone not used to apps.

Needed something gentle

I needed a plan that wouldn't leave me feeling hungry all the time after my knee op stopped me going to the gym. I've been with them for years now, and the portion guidance has never let me down. Clear, sensible, and it fits in with my day without much fuss.

far easier than the old counting book

Compared with the paper food diary my daughter kept nagging me to give up, this is much easier to manage. I was sceptical at first but my GP has noticed the difference at my last check. The plan doesn't ask for anything unreasonable and the support messages are sensible rather than preachy. I've been using it for a few months now and I'd happily carry on.

good plan, slow to reply

Four out of five for me, mostly because the meal plan is actually useful and I've stopped spending ages in the supermarket. Sent a question about swapping a recipe on a Tuesday and didn't get a reply until the Friday, so not ideal when you're in the middle of a week. Signing up took about five minutes on my phone. Would stick with it.

About Mindbloom

Mindbloom is a UK-based company that offers online health and wellbeing treatments, with a focus on at-home care for conditions such as weight management, low testosterone and menopause symptoms. Its services are delivered through a digital consultation process, where customers complete an online health questionnaire and speak with a clinician before any treatment is prescribed. Medications and supplements are then sent directly to the customer's home with written guidance on use.

The company's customers are adults who prefer to manage their health through remote consultations rather than repeated visits to a GP surgery or clinic. Mindbloom operates entirely online, with support provided through its website and messaging channels, and its treatments are overseen by registered healthcare professionals.
