The app is so easy

The app is so easy to use, you just tap your meals and it does the rest. Signed up on my phone during lunch and was set up in like ten minutes. Good stuff.

A sound choice for me

On the whole I'd say this is a sound choice for anyone wanting a structured plan with proper support behind it. I signed up after my daughter recommended it and found the initial questionnaire thorough without being tiresome. My one reservation is that the price went up at my renewal, which I hadn't expected, though the service itself has remained consistent throughout. The adviser I spoke to was courteous and knowledgeable.

Been with them for years

I needed something to help me manage my cholesterol after my GP suggested cutting back, and I've been with the programme for about four years now. The meal plans have changed a good deal in that time and the new ones are more varied. Renewing is simple and the team has always been helpful when I've had questions.

the check in tool actually helped

Compared with the free calorie counter I had on my phone, this one asks what I ate and then tells me why I'm stuck. The weekly check in took me about two minutes and the feedback was blunt in a good way. Got my first week's plan the same day I signed up.

Not what I hoped for

Signing up was simple enough but the first food delivery took nine days to arrive, and I'd been told three to five working days at most. When I emailed about it the reply took almost a week, which made it hard to plan my meals. I compared a few options before this and I think I'd go elsewhere next time.

Better than my last plan

Compared with the meal plan I was using before, this one gives me a lot more choice each week, which matters when you're cooking for a family of four. I've been a customer for about three years now and the menus have kept getting better. The delivery slots are flexible and I've rarely had a problem with timing. Easy to manage the account online and I'd happily carry on.

First order of the box

The first thing I bought was the starter box, and I'd never tried a meal kit before so I was nervous. Everything arrived on time and the ingredients were packed neatly with the recipe cards on top. The chicken dish was lovely and I'm already looking at the next menu, so I think I'll keep ordering from them.

cheaper than the gym plan I was on

Compared with the personal trainer I was paying for, this is a good bit cheaper each month and I'm still getting a plan. The sign up was quick, though the first payment went through a day later than the site said it would. The meals are sensible portions and I don't feel like I'm starving by Wednesday, which is what usually kills it for me.

really good so far

Honestly this is a solid programme and I'm glad I tried it. I'm a first timer so I didn't know what to expect, but the onboarding emails walked me through everything step by step. The only small gripe is that the first call was booked for a time that didn't suit me, so I had to rearrange it.

The coaching calls were the bit that sold it

The coaching calls were the bit that sold it for me, I'd looked at two other diet apps and both just gave you a calorie number and left you to it. Here you get a proper check in every fortnight with someone who actually remembers what you said last time. The sign up took about ten minutes and the payment page was clear about what happens after the trial ends, which I appreciated.

cheaper than the gym route

Compared with paying for a personal trainer and buying my own meal prep, this works out a fair bit cheaper per month. The programme is structured enough that I stopped second guessing what to eat each day. Got my first month running within the week and haven't looked back since.

Needed something for the gym

Needed something to stop me eating rubbish after training since I kept ordering takeaway every night. The plan itself is fine, the recipes are quite easy and the shopping list saves time. Only thing is the app crashed twice when I tried to log my meals and I had to restart it, which was annoying. Still sticking with it though.

bought the weight loss plan after comparing

Went with the 12 week programme after looking at a few other options and this was the one that felt least like a crash diet. The meal guidance was clear from day one and the coaching check ins actually kept me on track when I wanted to give up. Signing up was quick and I've already told my sister about it.

Good value for the money

Compared with the supermarket meal deals I was buying, this is a bit more expensive per week but the portions are generous and nothing goes to waste. The only niggle is that the delivery window is quite wide, so I had to wait in one afternoon. Otherwise a solid, easy option.

The food box arrived fine

Bought the first food box and it arrived the next working day in a cool bag, everything still cold. The portions were what the menu said and the recipe cards were easy to follow. Good value for what you get, and I'll be ordering the next one.

needed a plan that stuck

I needed a plan I could actually stick to after years of starting and stopping. The weekly food boxes arrive on time and cover my lunches and dinners. Good value.

Needed something quick

I needed something quick and easy to make after work because I kept skipping dinner and then eating crisps at midnight. The meals are simple enough and I love that I don't need to think about it. Got the first box in a few days and everything was fresh, which was a relief. Sign up was easy and the site walked me through choosing my options so I didn't get lost. Definitely planning to keep going.

The meal planner stood out

The first thing I noticed was the meal planner, which lays out each week in a way I could follow without ringing anyone for help. Booking my starter consultation was straightforward and the adviser was patient with my questions about my blood pressure medication. I'm pleased with the service and would happily continue.
