Better than the usual kit, a bit fussier to plan

Compared with the meal kit I was using before, the portions here are more generous and the instructions are clearer, so I'm not standing there guessing at a step. The app could be a bit quicker when I'm changing dishes around for the week though, it sometimes lags. Otherwise it does what I need.

plan was easy to set up

Set the plan up on the app in about ten minutes, which was a relief. Delivery was a day later than they said though, so my first week started late. Food's good and the portions are decent for a lad my size.

Best of the three I tried

Tried two other meal plans before this one and this is the only one that didn't leave me hungry by mid afternoon. The chicken and quinoa bowls are the stand out for me. Easy to pause when I went on holiday, and the site showed exactly what each week includes.

Far more sensible than the diet books

I found this far more sensible than the fad diet books my daughter kept buying me. The meals are proper food that a person of my age can manage without fuss. Delivery was reliable and the staff were most helpful when I needed to change my day.

decent plan, bit pricey for what it is

Honestly it's a good plan and I've stuck with it for the full eight weeks, which for me is rare. The recipes are straightforward and the shopping list saves time. It is more expensive than the cheaper meal kits I looked at before, and I wish the subscription was easier to pause without emailing someone. Still worth it if you want structure.

Needed something after my blood pressure scare

My GP suggested I cut the salt and get my meals sorted, so I signed up for the low sodium plan. Sign up took about five minutes and the first box turned up two days later. Fine value for a retired fella on a fixed income.

this is the one I'm sticking with

This is the one I'm sticking with after trying a couple of others. The meals are filling and the instructions are clear enough that I don't need to Google anything. Ordering each week takes about a minute on the app.

Helpful for managing my diabetes

I was advised by my consultant to look at a diabetes friendly eating plan, and this one has been very helpful. The carbohydrate information is clearly set out for each meal, which I find reassuring. Booking the first delivery was straightforward and the staff were patient when I rang with a question.

Sign up took ages, food was fine

Ordered the starter plan on my phone and the sign up was a faff, took three goes before the payment went through. Box came on the Thursday instead of the Wednesday they said, bit annoying. Food is fine though, nothing special.

not the best for a wheat free diet

Not the best option if you're strictly gluten free. The site says some meals are free from wheat, but a few of the sauces I got had barley in them and I had to ring them up about it. They were apologetic and sorted a refund, but I'd check every label before ordering and set your expectations accordingly.

First time trying a meal plan

Never done a meal plan before so I signed up for the starter one to see if I could stick to it. Setting up the account was easy and the first box turned up on the day I picked. Recipes are simple enough for someone who can barely boil an egg, and I'm already noticing I'm eating more vegetables without trying.

Vegetarian plan with good portions

I went for the vegetarian plan after cutting out meat, and the recipes are well put together with proper protein sources rather than just beans. The portion sizes are generous enough that I'm not raiding the fridge at ten o'clock. Delivery to my area was on time every week.

Good food but the sums don't add up for me

Food is good and I like the portioning, but I did the maths and it works out at more per meal than doing my own shop. The first box also came with one ingredient missing, the spinach, which I had to get myself. They did sort a credit back quickly when I messaged, so no real complaint there. Probably better value for people who don't cook.

The portions are actually filling

Honestly the portions are the first thing I noticed, they're proper filling, not those sad little trays. Recipes are quick, twenty minutes most nights. Delivery was on time. Would keep ordering.

compared to the supermarket options

Compared with the supermarket ready meals I used to live on, this is a clear step up for nutrition, and the labels are actually useful. The per meal cost is a bit more but I'm eating better. Delivery arrived in good order.

Macros listed per portion is brilliant

The macros being listed per portion rather than per recipe is what sold me, makes tracking so much quicker. Recipes are decent, nothing revolutionary if you already cook, but the protein counts are accurate from what I've checked against my own scales.

Needed a plan for my dad's diabetes

We needed a plan we could follow at home for my dad after his diagnosis, and the diabetes friendly option turned out to be sensible. Food is good, carb counts are clear, and the shopping list cut our weekly spend because we stopped buying random stuff. Yes it costs more than cooking from scratch, but for a pensioner who doesn't like cooking it's worth every penny. Delivered on time every week, no fuss.

Way better than the cheap kit place

Used to order from a cheaper meal kit and this is miles better in terms of what's in the box. Less faff, the food tastes like food, and the calorie info is on every card. Took two minutes to sign up on my phone at lunch. Ordering again next week.
