Honestly this is the one I'd pick if you want to meet people nearby without hours of scrolling. I tried two other sites first and they were full of people miles away. The local events are well organised and the messaging is easy. Price is reasonable for what you get, and I've met a couple of people I'd like to see again.

Compared with the app I'd been using, this one feels a bit clunky on my phone. Messages sometimes take a while to load and the notifications came through late a couple of times. Still gets the job done for finding people nearby, just not as smooth as I'd like.
